    • 1. I have discovered that presently the Guide will update but only for the channel that the TV is currently tuned to. I'm unsure how the guide worked in the past with all channels filled but maybe there is a clue there. 3. Clearing cache did not fix it. Reset to Original Settings will wipe out all settings & is too drastic to contemplate!
    • App loading but when I select a program no picture or distorted pic. Any suggestions to fix

    • LG has once again left a lasting impression on visitors to ISH, one of the world’s biggest annual tradeshows for HVAC, water and sanitation solutions. Held in Frankfurt, Germany, the event highlighted LG’s extensive range of integrated heating solutions customized for diverse environments and spaces, including high-efficiency residential heat pumps and large-capacity commercial systems. Tailormade for the European market and compliant with the European Union’s F-gas Regulation, LG’s products exclusively employ refrigerants with a low Global Warming Potential (GWP). A major attraction at LG’s booth, the Hero zone introduced ISH visitors to the exceptional Therma V R290 Monobloc air-to-water heat pump (AWHP) for residential applications. Displayed beneath a captivating hanging façade at the center of the zone, the new Therma V boasts a sleek, minimalist design, quiet operation and outstanding cold-climate performance, thanks to LG’s advanced scroll compressor. Designed with user comfort and the health of the planet in mind, the Therma V employs R290 refrigerant, which has a GWP of 3, to reduce carbon emissions. LG also showcased the Monobloc G and Cascade Control Unit, two sophisticated solutions suitable for multi-unit apartment buildings and large homes. The Cascade Control Unit offers flexible scalability, allowing users to add up to eight outdoor units to their HVAC system. This adaptability not only meets varying heating demands but also optimizes energy efficiency, thereby contributing to the reduction of HVAC running costs. Another notable exhibit was the new LG heat pump water heater (HPWH) with R290 refrigerant. Displayed in a booth area designed to resemble a stylish European kitchen, the versatile HPWH R290 utilizes both air and electricity as energy sources, achieving greater efficiency than traditional electric or a gas-powered water heaters. Its simple design ensures compatibility with various installation environments and customer needs, offering seamless integration with various types of indoor units, such as control, hydro and combi. In response to recent EU restrictions on refrigerant usage, LG has launched a complete lineup of reliable commercial HVAC solutions utilizing R32 refrigerant (GWP of 675). Visitors learned about the innovative, large-capacity Inverter Scroll Chiller, which leverages twin inverter scroll compressors to maximize cooling power and operational efficiency. The Inverter Scroll Chiller can be integrated with LG’s Building Energy Control (BECON) CPM system, which utilizes advanced AI technologies to simplify control and monitoring of LG’s commercial HVAC solutions. The Multi V i R32 variable refrigerant flow (VRF) solution was another attraction at LG’s booth. Incorporating the company’s AI engine, the Multi V i intelligently manages temperatures across multiple indoor spaces. This VRF solution includes a full package of integrated solutions, including a number of safety features and systems designed to enhance stability and reliability, and provides time-saving troubleshooting assistance with Smart Diagnosis. LG, a pathfinder for innovative heating, has been at the forefront of HVAC innovation for several decades and continues to show the way forward. With its comprehensive exhibit of efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions at ISH 2025, the company reaffirmed its commitment to decarbonization and to paving the way to a better future for all. # # # link hidden, please login to view
    • At LG, innovation extends beyond technology – it’s about creating meaningful experiences that inspire change and shape the future. This vision comes to life through LG College Day, an immersive program that connects students with LG’s corporate culture, emphasizing sustainability and real-world innovation as core values.  Recently, over 50 Princeton University Korean language students visited LG Electronics North America’s headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The visit provided a firsthand look at how LG is pioneering the future through cutting-edge technologies, insightful discussions and hands-on learning experiences.  For some, LG College Day is more than just an educational visit – it’s a gateway to a future career. One former participant was so inspired during his visit that he later joined LG as a full-time employee, underscoring the program’s role in connecting top talent with real-world opportunities.  The visit began with an introductory session where students explored LG’s business strategy, technological advancements and global impact. A highlight of the session was a dynamic panel discussion featuring LG executives and industry experts, who shared valuable insights on career development, leadership and the future of technology.  Students then stepped into LG’s showroom, where they interacted with groundbreaking innovations such as the LG SIGNATURE OLED T – the world’s first wireless and transparent OLED TV – and the LG StanbyME, a portable wireless screen acclaimed for maximizing users’ on-the-go productivity. The OLED Flexible Signage display delivered an immersive visual experience that brought images to life with stunning clarity and realism.  Next, students explored LG’s Home Appliance showroom, where they witnessed AI-powered innovations that are transforming everyday life. From smart refrigerators that suggest optimal recipes to AI-driven washers that optimize laundry cycles, LG continues to set new standards for intelligent home solutions.  A visit to LG’s cutting-edge Virtual Studio offered a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process behind the company’s global marketing campaigns. The studio, a high-tech production space for commercials and product photography, highlighted LG’s emphasis on storytelling and branding.  Students also gained insight into LG’s environmental and social initiatives, including the Endangered Species Series, the Pollinator Garden and LG’s LEED Platinum Certification – reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability.  Beyond technology and business insights, LG College Day provided students with an opportunity to engage with LG’s Human Resources team, exploring various career paths and business opportunities within the company.  Jung Kyu-hwang, CEO of LG Electronics North America, emphasized the importance of fostering connections with the younger generation: “By engaging with young people, especially Gen Z students, we’re not just showcasing our innovations – we’re building connections for the future.”  LG College Day continues to grow as a platform for inspiring future leaders, bridging the gap between academia and industry while celebrating the synergy of innovation, corporate responsibility and Korean culture.  # # #  link hidden, please login to view
    • Will Gamestop and LG make Future Business in USA and many countries online to Support much gaming fun on LG Screens .
    • I hope I don't jinx myself by sharing this, but my goal is to help others facing similar issues, saving them the frustration I've experienced — especially considering how much we invest in these devices. After deciding to purchase another HDMI cable to test if a different brand could resolve the issue, I performed another power cycle test, this time slightly differently from before: Turned off the TV, receiver, and subwoofer (though turning off the last one might seem unnecessary, I'll explain why shortly). Unplugged all three from their power outlets. Removed ALL HDMI cables from the TV — no exceptions. Removed ALL HDMI cables from the receiver — again, no exceptions. Waited 30 minutes (although it was closer to 40-45 minutes, as I took some extra time before actually start to count time). Plugged the TV, receiver, and subwoofer back into their power outlets. BEFORE turning anything back on, reconnected all HDMI cables to the TV first, and then the receiver. Turned on the TV. Turned on the subwoofer. Turned on the receiver. Went to the TV settings and switched audio output to HDMI.   Now, regarding the subwoofer: since the goal of the power cycle is (as I understand it) to completely clear any residual electricity from the devices, I concluded that the subwoofer might also have an influence. The subwoofer in my setup is active, meaning it requires its own power source. Additionally, the connection between the subwoofer and the receiver involves electrical signals, as with any speaker. Testing it this way made sense to me.   After all this effort, surprise, surprise... The problem persisted — and initially seemed worse, with the connection between the TV and receiver repeatedly dropping, causing rapid flickering between the "No Signal" message and the TV's volume meter popping up constantly. At that point, I was ready to give up (again). Out of frustration, I stood there watching the screen furiously flicker. Then, after a few intense seconds, the flickering suddenly stopped. The TV started displaying images correctly, and the receiver's front panel showed "DSUR", confirming that the handshake went well. This occurred two days ago. Since then, I've experienced no more flickering, no random "No Signal" messages, and no frustrating audio dropouts. My previous frustration (extreme annoyance actually) and hopelessness regarding LG's willingness to investigate the issue have finally eased.   I genuinely hope this helps anyone else experiencing similar issues. And if someone from LG is reading this, please consider such concerns seriously — even if issues appear extremely isolated.   Thanks for your time. Take care, stay safe, drink water, and hug someone next to you. See ya!
