    • Same issue here! I tried going to "remote work" mode before starting screen share but same issue and it keeps bringing me back to the home page.  For some reason I had a different error ONCE, it asked to enter the 8 digits password showed on the screen in my laptop... but the laptop didn't trigger a password entry so I was still blocked 🤡 Anyway the only way I found was to turn the TV on and off and try again and again until it randomly works without having to accept on the TV
    • I haven't resolved the issue, the local service support asked me to reset it to default and monitor, did it but it does the same thing, randomly resets itself while watching Netflix, Max or Youtube. I tried the service menu but I couldn't understand it was not able to see the reason for reset.
    • Hi BozaB, did you also upgrade to a recent webOS version just after the C4 installation ? You can check that in the setting (wheel) menu from the magic remote. You can also see if you have notifications to ask you some actions (like updates).  I suggest that you update to the latest version that you can (for the c3, this is the 23.20.50). I don’t have it for the C4 … Also, I only have 2 devices connected to my LG Tv (a box and a sound system). I suggest that you disconnect some of these devices (one by one) and check if you still have the issue.
    • “Level 3” CSMS Certification Demonstrates Company’s Capability to Ensure Digital Safety of Its Innovative Mobility Solutions SEOUL, Dec. 3, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) continues to bolster its cybersecurity capabilities in automotive technologies, reinforcing its position as a prominent tier-1 mobility solution supplier. The company recently earned Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS) certification at Level 3 from TÜV Rheinland, a global testing and certification agency. Recognized as the highest level of certification, this milestone reflects LG’s dedication to ensuring security throughout product development, manufacturing and real-world application. The CSMS certification, which confirms compliance with the ISO/SAE 21434 standard and UN R155 regulation, is now a mandatory requirement for automakers in 56 markets. The certification involves comprehensive evaluations, including simulated cyberattacks designed to identify vulnerabilities in security measures and processes. LG’s advancement from Level 2 to Level 3 certification underscores its commitment to meeting increasingly strict cybersecurity criteria, achieved through rigorous testing of both its CSMS standard and manufactured products. In line with industry best practices, LG adheres to the Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination framework, widely known as Automotive SPICE® (ASPICE). Developed by the Automotive Special Interest Group, which includes many well-known European automakers, ASPICE provides a systematic approach to evaluating and improving vehicle software development processes. LG has received recognition for its implementation of ASPICE for Cybersecurity, an extension of ASPICE that includes a number of additional cybersecurity assessments. As the automotive industry transitions toward software-defined vehicles, LG remains at the forefront of addressing evolving cybersecurity challenges. In addition to obtaining globally recognized certifications including CSMS and adopting ASPICE framework, LG has strengthened its capabilities through strategic initiatives, such as the acquisition of Cybellum, an Israeli automotive cybersecurity company, in 2021. “LG is at the forefront of employing cutting-edge security technologies and processes to deliver safer and more reliable solutions for automakers and end users,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of LG Vehicle Solution Company. “We will continue to refine our security systems to stay ahead of increasingly sophisticated cyberthreats targeting the mobility sector.” # # # link hidden, please login to view

    • Hello! Newbie here! I have an LG OLED65B7A. It works well enough connected via ethernet cable to my network. I want to use my LG OLED65B7A as another monitor to my laptop. I know this can be done using some kind of wireless technology, Miracast, etc. But do I need to have my LG OLED65B7A connected to my WiFi to set this up? However, my LG OLED65B7A will not connect to my WiFi even though the WiFi router is just 3 feet away ! I know the WiFi is good: I have several pc's and my cellphone connected. There is a "SCREEN SHARE" (Miracast) option in the LG OLED65B7A, but when I select it (using the LG's remote and pressing the input button) this message pops up: "The device cannot be connect to your TV. Please try again. If the issue persists, please restart you TV or check your device." So I'm taking this to mean that my pc laptop cannot connect to my LG OLED65B7A ? More: when I go to the full display of options in the OLED65B7A, and go down to Network, it tells me the Wi-Fi Connection is "Not Connected.  When I then go into the Wi-Fi Connection, it tells me, "Wi-Fi is turned off. Turn it on to see the list of available networks that you can connect to and additional related menu items." Again, I know the WiFi is good: I have several pc's and my cellphone connected to it and they work perfectly. I've tried manually entering the SSID of my WiFi: the OLED65B7A will not see it, & will not connect. Any hints? What am I missing? I have previously used an HDMI cable from my laptop into an HDMI port of the OLED65B7A and this works for me to use the TV as a giant monitor for my pc laptop. Must I disconnect the wired connection first to get the OLED65B7A connected to WiFi ? Any suggestions much appreciated!
    • FYI: the error code 0XC0000374 is a HEAP CORRUPTION in the program you are running, in this case the LG SmartShare program. The error is picked up by the OS Kernel (the NT Kernel internals part that looks after bad memory allocations, de-allocations, and buffer overflows, and invalid pointers). Basically it is a bug in the LG SmartShare program, and when it crashes, it most likely reverts to default settings, that turns the sharing off.  You will need to report it direct to LG, this site is ONLY a user to user forum If you want an in-depth read, check this out: link hidden, please login to view
    • I also have the same issue with a G1. I just bought a pair of JBL Tune 510BT headphones and it connects for a second then disconnects. I found if I disconnect my EArc wire everything works perfectly fine. So this isn’t just a “your” tv issue.
