    • I too have got this issue. I am trying to control my Virgin 360 box with the LG Magic remote. The TV initially recognised my 360 box but I could only use on/off and volume controls with the LG remote. Then I tried to set up the tv/remote manually, but got this so-called “Temporary Error - please try later message”. This has been going on for days. I don’t want to do a factory reset if possible as I have changed many settings on the TV and it seems that it won’t fix the problem anyway according to other comment on this thread.  How can I resolve?  Steve
    • I have also used a similar method to download Spotify songs onto a USB drive and then plug it into the TV. However, I used AudFree Spotify Downloader. 😁

The CEO emphasized the need to build structural competitiveness and accelerate qualitative growth by refining execution strategies adapted to rapidly changing global market environments. Cho highlighted positive progress achieved through innovative business models, such as subscription service business and webOS-based advertising and content business, which demonstrate LG’s agile responsiveness to evolving market demands. “Amidst unprecedented market uncertainties and a shifting competitive landscape, we require a fundamentally different level of strategies and precise execution,” he stressed. Compared to two years ago when LG first presented its Future Vision 2030, the global market recovery is experiencing prolonged delays, while geopolitical risks, such as shifts in trade policies in major nations, are becoming more pronounced. The competitive paradigm with Chinese companies is also shifting from price-based competition to a more sophisticated focus on technology. Over 75 percent of LG’s advanced R&D efforts will focus on technologies for businesses aligned with the company’s mid- to long-term strategies, and on securing pivotal technologies in promising future fields. LG will continue to concentrate on strengthening core technologies across eight core technologies: software, system on chip, AI, robotics, materials and parts, standards, next-generation computing and cloud/data. (LG) today announced its preliminary earnings results for the fourth quarter and full-year of 2024, reporting a consolidated revenue of KRW 87.74 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 3.43 trillion. This marks a new record for the highest annual revenue in the company’s history. Over the past four years, LG’s consolidated revenue has seen a compound annual growth rate of over 10 percent. The company has managed to grow while maintaining solid fundamentals amidst various external uncertainties. Strategic shifts in business models, including subscription services and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) initiatives, have driven growth beyond the limits of its core businesses. The expansion of Business-to-Business (B2B) operations has also contributed significantly to the revenue increase. Despite various challenges, profitability remained stable on an annual basis. In the second half of last year, unexpected global shipping cost surges and one-time costs for inventory rationalization impacted profitability. However, the overall annual business performance showed positive qualitative growth driven by business portfolio realignment. In the fourth quarter of last year, LG recorded consolidated revenue of KRW 22.78 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 146.1 billion. This year, the company aims to accelerate qualitative growth through business portfolio transformation.
