  1. I know, but what I think it's better is making some reddit topic to raise awareness for new buyers and then in the same topic share this topic for those interested in following this information, probably only LG customers who feel betraited like me. Not only you'll raise a much better awarness about this as also it's a good way to promote your forum. Since reddit it's public and followed by most brands, it's probably that LG will make some move. Now sharing this forum only on facebook and twitter the probabilities will be lower.

  2. I am not sure is this consider good news or bad news. My model is listed under 14'WebOS TV, but at the same time 15'WebOS TV includes my model. For example UB85xx in 15' and UB850T in 14'. Theoretically, xx includes 0T isn't it.... Finger cross. This app updates is preparing for WebOS 2.x. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lge.app1 From Sony Xperia Z1 using Tapatalk

  4. Hello everyone, I just heard that LG will not update to webOS 2.0 2014 TV! It's just unacceptable, some of us paid a full salary for a nice Christmas present poisoned! Maybe we could get together around the world to show our discontent? We could start a petition? New Campaign | CommunityRun what about you? Sorry for my bad English, i use google translator because I am French.

  5. That is insane. I can only guess how many new features and bug fixes they will release to the older <2015 models. Probably none. I don't know who is to blame, the architects who created a platform that will only last around 2 years, or the CEOs who want to maximize profit no matter what. As an engineer, I totally doubt that the existing hardware is not capable of running webos 2.0, so my guess is that it is the profit margins that is to blame. Well, now LG just lost one customer, since future proof high end electronics is very high up on my list of priorities whenever I buy this kind of stuff that is so totally software focused (I mean, how much better can the hardware be?). Here, Apple and Microsoft behave much better, by releasing new software (often free of charge) to their existing older hardware... So long, LG... So long Bean Bird, you are cool but your owners are nuts... /H

  8. Flash sucks. Why would you want that running on your TV. Also, I have the LG65UB9500 and it already support 4K streaming from Netflix and Amazon.
