I am sorry but thats a silly question. Off course we can boycott. Not buying any LG products and inform new buyers to not do it because of reasons like this.

I know, but what I think it's better is making some reddit topic to raise awareness for new buyers and then in the same topic share this topic for those interested in following this information, probably only LG customers who feel betraited like me. Not only you'll raise a much better awarness about this as also it's a good way to promote your forum. Since reddit it's public and followed by most brands, it's probably that LG will make some move. I was so excited with LG WebOS however this news is very disappointing. This is the reason why we should focus on AppleTV or AndroidTV. Google and Apple care about customers and their new operating systems are backward compatible in most cases.

I got my TV which was some of last 2014 releases at the end of the year.... wtf is this? The current webOS looks like some experimental prealpha release. If LG will not bring updates to it I'll never buy any LG product ever again, me and my other 10k followers... Even worst I might go with bad advertising for this stupid LG move...

This is an absolute joke from LG! They have some cheek not making WebOS 2.0 available for 2014 TVs! Are they trying to lose every customer they had by implementing this measure. I will be call LG SUPPORT immediately to voice my discontent and frustration after spending nearly €1500 on their hardware to hear this news. Complete and utter joke LG Should have went with Samsung
