  1. Hi All, I recently bought a LG Smart TV with WebOS (42LB6500) and would like to connect to my external hard disk connected over network. Here is how my home network and devices are setup. I have a high speed broadband that comes to my WiFi router (D-Link DSL 2750U) with USB support for External HDD. I have connected my Seagate Ex.HDD to this router and I am able to access the drive over WiFi on my smartphone and computer using the network path \\192.168.1.1\... Once connected I am able to use it similar to any mount location, i.e., read/write files, play media, etc., I want to do similarly with my TV, I would like to use this connected Ex. HDD as any other location and would like to achieve following two things at the least without any additional hardwarePlay media files on this HDD (very very important) Use the HDD as recording device for timeshift/live pause feature (important) Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Rukmaj

  2. Hello Everyone, I have 2014 LG 47LB750T tv and I am happy with the TVs performance. It has just updated to newer 05.05.25 firmware. New apps are getting added in the store. I have been following HotStar app in my phone from quite a long time. It has a very good list of shows and movies list. I was wondering if we can have HotStar app for our WebOS tv as well. Recently DittoTV app has too been added which is a boon for those who have frequent DTH cable connection problem. It directly streams live over the Internet and package is very economical. If LG Developers can also introduce HotStar app for our LG TV it will be a big boost to the platform as it is very popular in India. They also have their own Original series just like Netflix which are also very good. So requesting devs to kindly introduce HotStar app for our WebOS TVs. Thank You. 3. YouTube app and also youtube.com on tv browser Same problem with new 2017 43uj6307 tv. Even after the software update, version: 04.70.04 I've tried to connect via ethernet cable for better speed to maybe avoid to much buffering: same result, crash and restart! The problem seems to be worse with 4k video but also with hd video

  4. Because Amazon won't let you. They have a deal with HBO, Showtime etc that you have to buy to get access to the full content. You cannot use your premium channel login.
