Your TV originally shipped with webOS 2, although it may have received and upgrade to webOS 3, but that is still no guarantee your model will be supported.

Yes there are people that can handle the management of their equipment, but unfortunately companies have to cater for the idiots of the world who would be the first to complain loudly when they ruin their TV.

Unfortunately LG do not produce the app, its production is entirely down to Hotstar so if there is a problem you will need to give them feedback directly via their website.

Because that is how every other app store works, I honestly do not think that is going to happen.

Or, the website could be updated to work/recognise the webOS browser. Just like Hotstar did with their website.

Disney like a lot of other content providers are going to provide first for the platforms that are most prevalent first as that will bring them the biggest return/income. If you want Disney to release an app for LG then I am afraid you will need to start lobbying them to make one directly via their feedback system.

An app has been available for some time, but not necessarily for every region and every model of television. More details on your television model and your location would be needed to know whether it is available for your set.

Hi Govinda, I believe your TV is running webOS 2.0, the number you have quoted is the release number, and at this time Hotstar have taken the decision not to support it.

Currently no, you would need to access the services through the browser. Or, if your a techy you could write an app.

Hi, Unfortunately is not possible to update the now obsolete NetCast operating system to webOS. I am afraid your best option is to purchase an external device like a ROKU.

I am going to guess that there is something wrong with it, if you could post a picture and the model number that would give the forum members more to go on.

Hi Kayaem, Sadly your model of television pre-dates webOS, it runs the now defunct NetCast system. Your best option is to purchase a device such as a ROKU or Amazon Fire TV stick.

Currently you cannot install an APK on a webOS device as it is a different operating system to Google's Android.
