  1. Have a look at some of the following threads: https://www.lgwebos.com/search/?q=gigabit&quick=1
  2. Hi @crashnburn Sorry, but unfortunately I cannot answer that one.
  3. Hi @OLED65CX6 I would imagine that LG have dropped the feature, possibly they have had feedback that it is not a regularly used feature by a majority of users, or programmatically it has become more of a problem to keep rather than develop. You are not the only one asking on the forum: https://www.lgwebos.com/topic/6360-multiview-on-webos-5/
  4. Hi @JonnyFlores I would imagine that LG have dropped the feature, possibly they have had feedback that it is not a regularly used feature by a majority of users, or programmatically it has become more of a problem to keep rather than develop.
  5. Hi @Don Simms Spammers can't get it right every time you know...
  6. Hi @Lausonline Before trying to pair the headphones turn off your phone's Bluetooth, and make sure the headset is in pairing mode. Theoretically any Bluetooth headset should work as it is a generic standard, but of course your mileage may vary. On my 2016 TV I have used £12.00 generic Bluetooth headphones of the same vintage, through to current year Anker Soundcore Spirit Dot 2 & Life P2 true wireless earbuds.
  7. Hi @anand shinde Impossible to know as you have not given any indication of which model you have. But I am going to guess that the answer will be no anyway.
  8. Hi @Zvonko Vasiľ It looks like a hardware issue, so either you are going to have to find an engineer to see if it can be fixed, try fiddling with it yourself or purchase a new TV.
  9. Hi @Karen kelly- Mc Laughlin APK files are for the Android eco-system, and are not compatible with webOS.
  10. Hi @Ahmed SC You can find the latest firmware to download here: https://www.lg.com/ae/support/product/lg-43UH617V
  11. Hi @Maria Mahmood It would appear that currently EVDTV only produce an Android app and nothing for webOS; so it comes down to badgering them to produce for the platform.
  12. Hi @Samael Bate @Simon Block makes a very good point in his post: A friend who is the owner of a 2016 Samsung TV has moved to a Google Chromecast as while the TV still produces a perfectly good picture has not received updates to keep up with current viewing habits. Unfortunately televisions are not yet at the stage mobile phones are at for updates, and then only if you have a really popular brand/model. The internals of a television compared to a flagship mobile phone are fairly low spec'd with the majority of the cost going on the screen itself. If people want something that has any chance of being 'future proof' then the price of the television would need to rise quite considerably.
  13. Hi @S Biswas Earlier models capable of running webOS 6 will receive it if LG decide to spend considerable time and money on such a project. So the simple answer is that it is unlikely to happen. @Simon Block makes the point very well here:
  14. Hi @Simon Block What an extremely well-thought-out and cogent statement.
  15. Hi @Wan Syafiq If no one else comes up with a better idea my solution would be to purchase something in the line of a ROKU 4K device.
  16. Hi @Wan Syafiq The answer I am afraid is going to be no, this is because while webOS is the overarching operating system the firmware installed on each model/range is tailored to those units. So it is not possible (to my knowledge) to install the firmware from one unit to another.
  17. Hi @Wan Syafiq Being a unit designed for hotels the 55uu660h is not going to come with direct access to the LG Content Store, you do not want those pesky customers just installing whatever they want! Such TVs are meant to be managed with the LG Pro:Centric Smart Application Platform, you can read more at the following links: https://www.lg.com/global/business/commercial-tv/lg-55UU660H-SCA https://www.lg.com/global/business/download/resources/CT00000221/CT00000221_28491.pdf
  18. Hi @Ashwani Singh As this is a user-to-user forum it unlikely that your request is going to bear any fruit, unless that is a developer working for Airtel is a forum member. The best way to getting an app created for the platform is to badger the content creator via social media and get as many people you can to do the same.
  19. Unless Google produce the app then no.
  20. Hi @Hanman If you are interested in an app for the webOS platform then you need to be chivvying up Ring to produce one, because as a rule of thumb LG do not create apps for the platform.
  21. Sadly the lack of apps for the main UK broadcasters on 2020 models is all down to licencing deals between all the various parties.
  22. Hi @Anil Weerasooriya There are a some webpages you can look at: https://smart-tv-control.ru/en/lg-smarttv-change-region/ https://www.lgwebos.com/topic/6085-oled65e7p-update/#comment-18971 https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2353972 https://www.lgwebos.com/topic/5864-enabling-usb-recording-and-live-tv/
  23. Hi @Pramod Bisen If by Team you think you are talking to LG themselves then you are out of luck as this is a user-to-user forum, and it has no affiliation with LG. There is now a SonyLiv app available but only for 2018 model year and onwards TVs: https://www.lgwebos.com/topic/5391-sony-liv-app/ As for MX Player are you referring to the media playing app or the Indian streaming service? Whichever one is concerned you would need to contact them to see why they have not produced an app for the webOS platform because as a rule of thumb LG to do not produce apps.
  24. Hi @dagarwal82 Unfortunately this is a user-to-user forum and the site is not affiliated with LG. If you or other users want an app produced for the webOS platform the people you need to talk to are the Discover Channel themselves, because as a rule of thumb LG do not create apps for the platform.
  25. Hi, OK I will post in this thread for a third time on this subject. LG, in general like Google, Apple and Samsung, do not write apps for their respective platforms. If you want an app for the webOS platform it is down to the creator of that app to produce it, not LG.
