  1. hope this works I've sent you a PM PepeEL
  2. Whoops my bad. I have WebOs 1 with 5.00.55 firmware but it shouldn't be too different. will try for a foto.
  3. Make sure you have a usb drive in the TV. GoTo Settings Advanced Programme tuning Copy program TV to USB or USB toTV
  4. You can export the channels then import them, but last time I tried I lost my channel logos, but maybe I didn't wait long enough for them to update OTA. but channel list were ok.
  5. Dejan, Any Obvious/noticeable improvements that stand out or just the run of the mill WebOs update?
  6. Here is the link check the model number is correct. http://www.lg.com/es/posventa/software-y-drivers?search=42LB650V&superCategoryId=CT20126004&pageVisibleFlag=2 you beet me to it Dejan. Have you tried this firmware Yet Dejan? I checked yesterday for software as I'm suffering lock ups when changing satellite or dtv channels as well as losing all cec control & hdmi to Rasp Pi. But then the cat sat on the remote and as of that time it all works again. (Way to go Gadget cat )
  7. Dejan, you are the man. Thanks for the heads up.
  8. Well I took the plunge and installed the 5.00.55 version and guess what. It seems ok at the moment, fingers crossed. Only time will tell. I have to use internet browser to set my DNS server for geo unlocking and it seemed more responsive than before (still a long way of a PC but certanly more usable). SD-tv picture seems a little better than the 5.00.15 not as much blurring around moving figures or may be just a different set up after the reset. All in all very pleased so far. At last LG are getting it together. Also for added bonus looking through the russian website linked earlier found out my all in one remote can be coded to acess the EZ service settings menu's. Big thanks for the info Dejan. Regards Jon
  9. Just a couple of questions Dejan, 1. Any picture improvement with the new firmware? 2. How are the picture adjust setting menu (less adjustment options on the later 5.00.** firmwares) 3. Out of memory errors (possible a little early for this) Cheers Jonny Happy new year to all
  10. Come on Kusie, put our minds at rest, is it going ok or are there any more bugs to report. You're a brave man. I have just set it downloading for an install at a later date. if your comments are favorable. Jonny
  11. Hi all, Can any one tell me if the beta version (starfish-dvb-secured-m14tv-25.ashley.m14tv-2507-05.00.15-prodkey_nsu_V3_SECURED) I downloaded & installed is the latest version of the software that is available from the OTA update.? Edit 42LB731 tv cheers Jon
  12. I have the 05.00.15 firmware installed now and have only had the out of memory close after a 30-40 minutes whilst using web browser. I got side tracked doing somthing else and the browser was left open for 25-30 minutes on the same page, when I returned and started using it again that's when the app closed and restarted the browser I used for a further 10-15 minutes with no problem. I've had no problems with the simplink activated and watch a couple of films through my Raspberry pi2. Might even go for a 05.00.20 next. Jon.
  13. Ok, downloading as I type, I´m going to try this 05.00.15 software. My Raspberry Pi2 needs to be utilized a little more. if all else fails I have not uninstalled the LG_updater so will be easy to downgrade, If not Dejan I´m coming after you. for tempting me with your endless firmware supply's. Cheers Jon
  14. Hi all, LG Espańa have just called again saying the technical department are working on an update and it will be released as soon as possible ( no date given). Fair play to LG they have been very responive to my emails, always responding to emais or calling me when they said they would. Solution for now is to leave simplink turned off no good for us with Raspberry Pi. But a solution is down the road and hopefully the end of the firmware blues. Waiting for the next update."again"
  15. Hi all, Just had a call from LG Spain following my recent contact though their website asking for more info about the hdmi/arc simplink problem and the details of my TV. They are going to inform technincal and advise me of the outcome via Email. Sounds promising, Lg seem to be following up customer problems and taking it seriously. Will update as/If I here from them. Fingers crossed. Jon
  16. Well I sent an Email to LG in Spain telling them about the issues I have with simplink on 05.00.04 firmware. They responded quickly asking for a video of the problem. So I reinstalled and reset TV. 50 mins in and app closure, interestingly I could not even get to the settings menu it just kept restaring the Live tv app or if error on web browser I couldn't close the webpage, I got a couple off videos and will send today and see what they say. The more they know about the problem might just respond with another update quickly. Will keep you posted Jon
  17. I've just downgraded as well luckily I left the LG updater file on the PC. Just a shame I liked the speed of the new firmware and I was hoping the issues would have been solved, I use the simplink for Raspberry Pi control. Until the next update if any. Maybe if we all contact LG they may listen, we can but hope. Cheers Jon
  18. Oh well look's like another downgrade app closed to free up memory still present.
  19. TV 42LB731V-ZE No auto update / manually updated from 04.65.05 to 05.00.04. Afro-Ashley 1.4.0-2504 Location set to UK (TV is actually in Spain) Lets see what happens from here. Firmware looks same as the beta 05.10.02 I installed a week or so ago. Cheers Jon
  20. LB731 here with 04.65.05 installed. Downgraded from 05.10.02 No update form Uk, Spain, Serbia or South Africa. With auto update on, android app or manual update.
  21. Cheers Simon I thought it may be out sooner with LG releasing it in the eastern areas as reported by earlier posts. I'm so glad I managed to downgrade. Thought I might be stuck with the beta. Cheers Jon
  22. Well I've just managed to downgrade to 04,64,25 from 05,10,02. I used the link from techflaws Pg17 of this thread:- http://blog.techflaws.org/2014/05/26/firmware-downgrade-for-lg-smart-tvs/. I also tried a method from Dejan to no avail. (Probably my fault for not reading the instructions correctly) thanks anyway Dejan. So now I'm waiting for the official update and not i'm not going to mess anymore. I certainly felt the speed difference, the beta being lot faster throught the menus. Anyone know when a european version will be available? Cheers Jon
  23. Has this cured the app closure to free up memory. I know a little early to tell yet but please keep us all informed. I'm still trying to downgrade. From beta 05,10,02
  24. Hi, Just upgraded to 05.10.02 with a little help from Dejan . I got the app close error after 40-60 minutes again, but reset the tv again and fingers crossed its playing well dare I say it. My TV was bought in Spain so every time you reset it defaults to the Spanish settings Thanks for the advice will try if problems persist. Jon
  25. I have an LB730V ZE. Just hoping the new webos 2 firmwate is numbered accordingly so that it will find it automatically.
