  1. The problem with exFAT and VFAT, or anything other than FAT16 and FAT32 is that is patented by MicroSoft. And I can imagine that a big company as LG will nu go there. Why LG doesn't use PTP I don't know.
  2. I think the format of the GoPro microSD card is the problem. For a test you could try using a smaller microSD card and format it in FAT32. See if that works.
  3. It could be a problem of de DNLA server you are using. I have used the Plex DNLA server, but couldn't get the subtitles working. After this I used Serviio and then it worked. Now I am using the Plex App on the LG TV and a Plex server, for me that is the best solution. Subtitles working and a very nice interface.
  4. You can link your smartphone with the youtube app. This functionality is in the youtube app. After you did this, you can use your phone to type and even use it to search youtube en start the video on your TV.
  5. Shaking it strongly, that is what I do.
  6. I remember I tried using this function on the public broadcaster in my country but the results were not good enough. The first recording always went right, but next recordings of a serie didn't work most of the time. I gave up rather quickly. Even on a VCR in the 80's this didn't work reliable :-) YMMV
  7. The message "Cable/broadcast service changed programming" looks like your TV is using information from the broadcaster that is buggy. I don't have terrestrial TV any more so I can't look at the options but can you make recordings using start time and end time without using the electronic guide? Good luck, Peter
  8. Maybe your USB stick is not fast enough or is not working properly. You could try to stick it into a PC and check the filesystem. What I did was use a small (500 Gb) cheap HD for recording. Never failed me.
  9. Maybe you could remove the youtube app first and then try to install it again. There is an other thread about the youtube app: Other thread
  10. I don't think there will ever be a flash player for the LG Web OS tv.
  11. I never had to reset my TV. Do you use wifi on your tv? This sometimes seem to be unstable. You could try using a cable to connect to the internet.
  12. Web OS is not the same as Android. You can not download anything from the Play Store.
  13. At first I used the internal player, after this I played files from a server using UPnP but now I use the Plex App on webos. You can find Information on Plex there. Much better than the internal player en also better (nicer) subtitles + much better browsing of your collection of files. Plus, it's free.
  14. As far as I know, there is no flash player plugin for LG webOS TV's. It is not possible to play flash content.
  15. I tried several different servers including Plex but Serviio was the only one working all the time. But you really need to rename the subtitle file to exactly the same name as the movie. The only thing bugging me is the fact that Serviio can not generate high quality images for the on screen menu.
  16. Here http://www.lgwebos.com/topic/1573-can-i-play-videos-from-a-hard-drive-on-webos/ you can see the subtitles it will play.
  17. Goto the home screen -> click on the connector icon on the top right of the screen -> select all inputs -> there you can disconnect your usb device.
