Unfortunatelly, I can confirm bug "this app will close to free...bla bla bla.." will popup after ~3-4 hours youtube, netfilx, hdmi/live tv, and smartshare. Then you must reboot(off/on) tv for the next 3-4 hours of happiness 05.00.55

Yes.. In short line: 1. format usb flash stick to fat32 2. make folder LG_DTV 3. Copy .epk file to this folder 3. Safely remove usb flash from computer 4. connect usb flash stick to usb in tv (any usb) 5. when update message pop-up click to "Install" and wait about 5-10 minutes to final message about sucessful update popups again something like that in top right corner "new software is installed and will be applied when next turn off/on tv.." 6. now you can turn off tv with remote controler and unplug usb flash 7. turn tv on and wait 1-3 minutes 8. youre updated

From personal experience, after numerous tests from the first firmware version 3 up to the latest versions of the firmware 05.00.55 I can confirm that there is absolutely NO difference in picture quality. If it is possible to notice a difference image is just better, not worse. The only difference is that version 3 and 4 suffers from the problem of "Out of memory. App is closed." and it was resolved in first 05.xx.xx. Also, all versions 5 are faster, prettier than 3 or 4. LG added some cute options of advanced webos 2.0 in first test/beta 5. Older versions have been slower, applications were considerably slower and suffered from a leak of memory problems..

Yes! 55EC930T is Australia/New Zealand model! 55EC930V is Europe model. Latest firmware for "T" models is 05.00.35 and i do not recommend install europe models firmware, unless if you wish messed-up TV Latest firmware for your model is 05.00.35 and unfortunatelly this is firmware with HDMI/ARC problems. No fix..yet For Europe models this problem is solved in 05.00.55

Don't update with this 05.00.40 version...Just stay on 05.00.15 or upgrade to test/beta 05.00.55

05.00.55 is for LB models...I hope LG will post new firmware for UB models soon...

Both are OK First site is global for all models, but second is just for your TV.

For Test/Beta versions just go with " в тестовом доступе для наших стран"
