Does the new webos update comes with the new stupid browser? because I could help not pressing update every time I open browser, but now every time I turn the TV on it asks for update and I think its better not to update. Now I remember I read somewhere from a genius that if your TV has no problem never update it! Its interesting recently everything I update turns out to be worst, big sample is Microsoft's Visual studio

I found something that helps, reset TV to factory settings, before that write down your region and backup programs to usb, then after restoring, set region and restore programs, new browser is gone, but every time you run browser it asks for update and you have to press launch. I found it in a thread and also users suggested to watch movies for free in watchsomuch.tv which was a great site and is fully compatible with WebOS browser. If pay you can watch outstanding 4K qualities on LG OLED

New Updated Web Browser Video Subtitles Disappears
A.R Rinan replied to alebabai's question in LG webOS Smart TV Questions
Its easy for LG to fix it, just disable screen saver when browser is playing video. Or literally just undo what you did last. Is there any method to downgrade browser? -
New Updated Web Browser Video Subtitles Disappears
A.R Rinan replied to alebabai's question in LG webOS Smart TV Questions
I have same issue, did lots of tests and found that this is some kind of screen saver in new browser, not only subtitles, but if you watch a video not in full screen, browser hides all html elements except the video after 2 minutes. I could not find any fix yet, and there is nowhere to disable screen saver for browser to fix this, I hope LG fixes this soon because I can not watch any movies anymore without subtitles. -

Feature Requests - Who uses Live TV anymore?
A.R Rinan replied to Kristofer Whiting's topic in LG webOS Wish List
It seems LG doesn't read or reply this Forum, you have to suggest it in other place that LG staff read it. As a programmer I would recommend to WebOS to look at inputs and apps as same Entity and remember the last selected one. Also I recommend split Satellite and Antenna as two live TV options. (if merging both types channels in same list is not doable) Example : Satellite Antenna HDMI 1 HDMI 2 USB Browser Netflix etc -
Changing between Freeview and Freesat on an LG OLED 55" YV
A.R Rinan replied to Ian Richardson's question in LG webOS Smart TV Questions
I have the same problem, the easier way is to Open the channels list using List button, then on the top right there is a filter button, there you can switch between Antenna and sattelite. I like to recommend to LG add this feature to merge channels list or doing similiar things, for example I have added my favorite antenna channels to Favorites 1 also added my favorite sattelite channels to Favorites 1, so when I press Favorites 1 I assume list both types. -

sateliite yahsat
A.R Rinan replied to Mohammad Kermanshahi's question in LG webOS Smart TV App Questions
Does LG staff ever respond to any questions? I have same question, please somebody help, there is no similar satellite with the Yahsat angel in the list. Can we do it with other satellite? -
I have a suggestion to extend life of oled TVs. I have read many manufacturers are doing attempts to prevent permanent burn in or Image retention. the most stupid one with another manufacturer was to show a screen saver even if you are watching movie if you do not touch the remote buttons for 30 minutes. One best approach is to show screen saver when there is no one watching TV, for example when the TV is in the Living Room, a very cheap motion detection sensor at wide angel can detect movements and if there is no one there you can show screen saver or whatever good for oled, the type of sensor is your business. There are many times a person in the house turns our the TV and is doing his/her things and moving between rooms, the TV can rest bug just the audio is on. This is also good if someone is working in the kitchen and just want to listen to the TV. User should be able to customize or turn off this feature.

When we have thousands of channels and we are navigating through them an option to easily add the selected channel to favorites or delete from favorites would be great, exactly like we do it on web pages.
