  1. The TVs have 10/100 ethernet. I always had bandwidth limit especially when streaming 80-100GB movies without any compression. I switched from wired to wireless 5GHz and it works perfectly. Strange why even high priced premium models don't have a gbps ethernet. even stranger the problem you mentioned with the disconnections.
  2. you firstly need to setup home-assistant on a raspberry pi. https://www.home-assistant.io/ then setup the LG webos integration on the home assistant: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/webostv/ then use the notifications service to send all kind of notifications
  3. yes there is. i have the home-assistant running on a raspberry pi, i have integration with the webos and i use the notify.tv service to send all kind of notifications. For example when the door opens, the attributes of my amplifier (dolby surround information) and many more.
