Do you mean log your credentials out of the slingtv app? Did this fix the looping and were you able to sign back in and get everything working normally?

FYI This OP is stating the issue started after updating his sling app. He has 3 LGs and did not update one of them which is still functioning correctly. So the issue appears to slings latest update to their app.

Yes. There is another thread with some people having this issue. You provide some good info about the app updating.

Im sure its a just a software bug somewhere that may get corrected with future patches... Personally I would not return a TV for this sort of thing.....grass is always greener.

I am having the same issue. I have tried re-installing slingtv without luck. If you open another service such as Disney or Amazon prime and then go Home\Dashboard then it will stay there. But if you go to sling then Home then sling will reopen automatically. Huge pain. I am considering doing a factory reset but trying to avoid it as it may not even work.
