  1. I subscribe ($10/mo donation) to my local PBS station OETA. The sub comes with an app that allows streaming in real-time on my LG C65 OLED TV. You might look into that.
  2. Thanks Hans Peter, I'll try the BT to 3.5 route. I'm disappointed that LG would not provide a 3.5 headphone jock on an expensive TV, and such inferior built in speakers. My LG 65" OLED set has excellent sound right out of the box. My old cheap Visio had one.
  3. I have a similar problem with my LG 27LQ600S-W. LG omitted a 3.5 headphone jack on this model and the TV speakers are really poor, I mean really, really poor. They sound like a tinney1960s transistor radio. I have a nice set of Phillips powered PC speakers that I used on the TV I replaced with the new LG. To work around the "no 3.5 jack" problem, I bought an optical to analog converter with a 3.5 jack. When powering the TV on, I have to go to settings>sound out opptical>select device>and then select the ID of the converter, confirming "yes". Every time I power on the TV, I have to go through this tedious ritual. I can't make the choice "stick". Will a Bluetooth adaptor with a 3.5 jack maintain the choice when powering up the TV? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks
  4. I don't see the "Microphone" icon on your remote like mine has. Mine is the "LG Magic Remote", which came with a 65" C3 OLED TV. Glad you got it back!
  5. I had that happen and when I used the voice remote, saying "Go To Sling TV", the tile reappeared the next time I tried it. I hope it works for you.
  6. Hi Folks, I recently bought an LG 65C3 OLED. When first set up, the on screen pointer was visible, now it has disappeared. Under setings>pointer options are grayed out (deactivated). Is there a way to recover it short of resetting everything to the default state? Thanks
  7. Never mind, I found it.👍
  8. Hi folks, I just bought a new LG from Costco, a 65C3 evo, OLED. The unit's native voice sounds like a chipmunk, very fast and high-pitched (remember Alvin the Chipmunk from the 60s?). I'm referring to the TV's voice when it responds to commands, like volume changes, etc. I've searched all the "sound" options in Settings and found nothing. All other sounds coming from the TV are normal pitch. I've checked for Firmware updates, and it reports "up to date" Any thoughts? TIA
