Omg, hallelujah, it’s FINALLY fixed!! They literally fixed it a day or two after the last comment on this thread! I couldn’t be happier! Google has overhauled the UI. If you don’t see it yet, keep your YouTube app updated and it should be rolled out to you any day now.

Oh that is exactly what brought me here. I had been hesitant to do a factory reset for so long, but I finally bit the bullet and did it last night. It did not fix the problem.

I have had the exact same issue as OP on my LG oled55c7p for 2 years now. I’ve tried everything and nothing has worked. It’s good (?) to know at least I’m not the only one.
