I know I can root webos to install piccap and use that for ambilight (TBSniller/piccap: PicCap - Hyperion Sender App | Ambilight for LG WebOS TVs (github.com) But why cant we have an official app that sends the picture information so we can make our custom ambilight for webos without rooting it ?
