Dont think they ever released 4.65.5 on the NZ site , only over air update , but im finding 5.00.04 better than the last FW and I use ARC and Simplink

That is a great fault description , you have done all of the fault finding for LG , now they should do something about it . Good luck

For me so far so good with this update 5.00.04 65LB7500 . Most things are a bit quicker apart from advanced menu that is a bit slower . It may be my imagination but the local dimming might be a bit more accurate on this version compared to 4.65.5 but that could be the placebo thing Its interesting the wide range of issues appearing with this update for some and not for others .

Im also using ARC to Onkyo amp and have HBB TV on , Have internet via Ethernet 65LB7500 5.00.04 , No problems with Netflix , have had a couple of memory drops on web pages otherwise all good . I also done a reset after update .

It would be interesting to know the connections and settings people are using who are having memory reboots . ie simplink ARC , HBB TV,wireless , Then others who don't have these problems might be able to compare and help . Also are people resetting after update ?

I have installed 05.00.04 from the LG support site here in NZ .Some things appear to be a bit quicker ie input changes but the advanced menu seems to be a bit slower if anything . I have had one memory error while using the web browser but not when using any other apps. I'm guessing this might be the final version as it has been released on there support site but not sure . LG 65LB7500

FYI New software is on the LG NZ site also .

Another thing I found when messing with the location settings , if I set mine to Aus for broadcast I get the full functionality of the universal screen remote and I can control my SKY box and Blu ray with the magic remote , but if I switch it back to NZ I dont . Hope they change that in the new firmware .

Hi , are most people doing a factory reset after updating firmware , I may have to do one anyway as I have lost my screen control panel for the universal remote but im still waiting for the release of official firmware here . LB7500 4.65.5 NZ

I am still on 4.65.5 have had the occasional errors while using web browser , I am just making sure the 5.004 isn't worse than what I have . maybe some of these app memory problems might be model specific . I have the LB7500

If you want to spoil your day completely you could ring Lg support and ask whats going on ,

My gut feeling is that the firmware is the same for AUS as NZ but like you I am not sure . Probably best to be patient Hopefully LG has not forgotten about us in New Zealand .

I did have the broadcast location set to Australia so that I could enable HIBB TV but I suppose it would be the service location that I would have to change . How are you finding this update ?

Haven't seen any updates here yet I have the 65lb7500 . How come you Aussies get everything first
