I received a reply today but it was not helpful. However, I changed my internet search and found the following, which has worked: Changing the power-on screen o Press the Settings button on the remote Select All Settings Select General Select System Select Additional settings Select Home settings Select Power on screen Select the desired initial screen Hope it works for you.

I have the same problem since a software upgrade and notified LG yesterday. Response expected in two working days. I will post when I get a solution.
