I'm using wifi and experience no issues with streaming from my computer or hard drive connected to my router. Using the latest 05.00.55 update. -

LG just released the 05.00.55 update for my TV 42LB6300, USA region. Fixes the HDMI ARC issue. -
Annoying "Input bubbles"

It seems to be a bug in the latest update. I am encountering the same issue and also ARC audio dropping randomly. I spoke to LG and they said they are working on an update to fix the issue, but it is very frustrating with the audio dropping randomly. -
I'm having the exact same issue with a Sony sound bar. This only started happening since the last update.
