There are many new movies and web series which are not playing. Jehanabad: in SoniLiv, The Night Manager in Hotstar are couple of examples. They are playing flawlessly in Laptop and Mobile, but not in LG TV backed by webOS. I have removed and reinstalled both the Apps but no result. Please help. -
When I am trying to play premium content on hotstar, it is showing me the playback error. Please resolve this. In other devices it is working perfectly. I have raised this to hotstar they asked me to raise it to TV manufacturer. Attach is the screenshot of the issue.

I bought my TV from Oman and shifted to India. Model is 65UH603V-TC WebOS 3.4.0 I have changed the area code to 4816 using service remote but still content page is not updated Broadcast country and service country set to India -
Subtitles aren't appearing for certain shows(eg. Big Bang theory).NO option to change audio language,video quality. Certain shows are like watching snapshots at 10s interval(check Homeland). Cricket matches are having slow frames per second although i have good bandwidth and fps on my tv(LG UJ652T). NO VIP option also. -
Hotstar is not available for the lower versions of the tv and there are no updates applied by lg to the firmware. My tv is a 2016 model -
When will Disney+Hotstar update to support 4K HDR on WebOS Version 5.1? Disney+Hotstar is streaming 4K HDR in Android TV, Apple TV, Firestick. Then when WebOs will start streaming 4K HDR? Disney+Hotstar was last updated on 3/4/20. When will a new update will come with 4K HDR support in WebOS?

Hi, HotStar is very popular application in india which allows you to watch tv shows/movies and lot more. I don't see its app available on LG Store. Any plan to launch Hotstar app for WebOS Store?? Thanks, Bhavesh

Hi, Prime and hotstar are becoming widely used in India past one year.Its so sad to see 49LH576T doesn't have these apps in content store. Please can some one from the technology team of LG answer this question why it has not yet been done and when will you accommodate these apps in your store. Cheers Raghav -
I have "32LH576D" LG Smart TV with the software version 05.00.07. I am not able to see Hotstar, PrimeVideo, ZEE5 etc entertainment apps on the LG content store in the tv. The software update says the most current software is installed. Can someone help me to figure out what is wrong? Is it possible those apps are not available for my tv?

Hey Team, I am using LG 43UH650T and the same is updated to latest firmware 5.50.80 yet it is not showing latest apps available on latest lg tv app store. Just wanted to know the availability of latest firmware for my tv that will support latest apps like Hotstar.

Hi I have tried downloading Hotstar app on my OLED 3D TV (MODEL NO. OLED55E6T) but the LG content store doesn't display any app. Software is up to date. If Hotstar is not compatable with current WebOS, look forward for an update in the software. Appreciate replies

I am using a 42-inch LG Webos TV from 2015. I would request LG to add Hotstar app to the content store. It will help us spend some good time while being lockeddown.

Hotstar says check with LG for release of hotstar app on LG32LH604T indian webos TV. I upgraded OS but hotstar and sonyliv both are not available in smart TV. Please release hotstar and sonyliv to 32LH604T variant

When will Hotstar app roll out for uh750t? Buying a firestick seems like the only option which would make buying a smart TV kind of pointless.

With latest update we got hotstar on our lg webos. But hotstar has playback issue with LG webos. Literally the app is crapy in tv . Video gets stuck every 2mins . We have to pause and replay the video.
