Magic Remote Pointer and other Issues

Speedemon

Question

I have a UK6300 LG TV. It has always worked faultlessly. However it now will not show the pointer unless I restart it and then it only there of only for 20 seconds and then it is gone. The LAN cable notification constantly disconnects and reconnects. The Web Browser no longer opens on my selected page. The Software version is the latest and when I tried to manually update the software in case the auto update got corrupted it will not recognize the USB drive as having the software on it. The software browser version is 05.50.15.

Any ideas what to do. I have two other LG TV's and all work perfectly.

In general, it's not possible to reinstall the same firmware via USB that's already installed in the TV, it does a version check,

doesn't recognize newer software and doesn't proceed.

First troubleshooting step is to unplug the TV from the power cord and let it sit for 15 minutes.  While it's unplugged you can also hold in the

TV's power button for 30 seconds to help drain any residual voltages.

Plug it back in and recheck the TV.  If the above did not help, you can try doing a full reset (It will be like when turned on for the first time)

You'll find it in settings/general

Also put fresh batteries in the remote control

Sorry to hear that.

Have you tried unplugging all HDMI/USB/Ethernet cables/devices and turning on the TV to see if any issues

can be detected?  Then plug them back one at a time, ethernet first, to see if you find any correspondence

with the problems.  Sometimes, just reseating these things will help.

For further options call LG support.

I recently bought a new router (Unify Dream Router) and after a couple of weeks of struggle, I managed to set it up with my ISP's VDSL connection (FFTC) using a third party modem in bridge mode (NETGEAR D6400).
Everything seemed to be working fine until I realised I couldn't open the Netflix app on my LG Smart TV. After a bit of investigation, I realised nothing except for YouTube and the Browser was working. Just to make this clear: the WiFi connects fine, I can access all websites through the LG Browser, and I have no issues with YouTube, but nothing else works.
All the regular streaming apps fail to open and, most importantly, the LG Content Store fails to load. Before I fixed my network, the tv was working fine. If I switch to my phone's hotspot, everything works fine.
      Things that I've tried:
factory resetting the tv leaving the tv unplugged to delete cache using google's DNS on the TV using a wired connection  Having said so, I am so lost that I would be happy to try anything again.

On my magic remote the red button is for ziggo interactive tv. Ziggo is a dutch provider and used by nearly half internet users in the netherlands.
But LG has programmed that button for Ziggo and we are living in a part where we have no Ziggo but another provider. Like more users here.
LG (benelux) says it is not possible to change it. So all LG tellys sold in netherlands have Ziggo under the red button.
But I think in Belgium (also LG benelux) they must have another choice because there is NO Ziggo provider in Belgium.
I searched for a hack about it, but did not find something.

I purchased MR23GN and while most of the functions seem to work ok, the message of "Remote not supported by this TV" keeps popping up.

I have spent countless hours trying to figure out which remote is compatible with my 27 inch LG television. I can find the TV on LG's website (after intensively searching each time), but when I search the Magic Remotes for compatibility, I've had no luck in anything matching the two.
TV model is 27LQ625S-PU, purchased from Best Buy in America. I'm running 7.3.1-38 for webOS TV version. Trying to purchase one elsewhere online also seems to not have anything resembling my TV make/model.
I don't know what else to do in order to find a remote that works, and I don't want to spend the money trying ten remotes until finding one that does. Am I missing something through the site where I should be searching? Do all remotes work based on webOS version? I'd really love to upgrade this mostly useless remote. I don't use it much right now because I don't like typing through the on-screen keyboard and the remote that came with the TV isn't as easy to use as a universal (I think some of the buttons are in oddly located places). I tend to use external smart devices because the (dumb) remote/webOS don't seem to pair together very well.
I appreciate any help you guys are able to offer, and apologize if this seems like a foolish question.
