Titled ‘Connecting Spaces and Future,’ the campaign highlights this vision and demonstrates a strong dedication to innovation, aiming to strengthen its reputation as a leading innovator across various sectors. The campaign features videos showcasing LG’s ongoing transformation into a ‘Smart Life Solutions’ company through an ever-evolving product portfolio. Starting July 27, three videos will be released focusing on its mobility solutions, air solutions and more.

This marks the first LG video campaign to focus on the company as a whole since ‘Digitally Yours’ in 2000. The new video content seeks to underscore LG’s mobility solutions and the unique experiences they offer, as well as AI smart home solutions that provide personalized environments, webOS solutions that connect various devices on a single platform, and the core technologies including HVAC solutions that will drive future industries.

The mobility solutions video illustrates LG’s efforts to expand home experiences onto the road and deliver unique customer experiences based on three main themes: Transformable, Explorable and Relaxable. It also features the company’s emerging electric vehicle (EV) charging business. The video on its air solutions highlights excellent HVAC technology, including chillers and heat pumps, and a commitment to innovating global solutions that enhance customers’ lives in every space, from residential to commercial.

This event is in line with LG’s desire to showcase its innovative efforts beyond the home appliance space. By highlighting other categories and sectors it pioneers, LG aims to resonate with younger audiences and establish a youthful, dynamic brand image.

On the first anniversary of the announcement of its ‘Smart Life Solutions’ transformation, LG is expanding its achievements across three new pillars of growth: accelerating B2B (including vehicle components and HVAC), pursuing platform-based services (subscriptions, webOS-based advertising and content, etc.) and exploring new business areas such as EV charging.

The company’s commercial HVAC business, which is also growing rapidly, is further diversifying its business portfolio. LG is continuously leveraging its globally competitive HVAC solutions across the entire value chain, from products, technology, production and services, while actively targeting backend industries supporting AI infrastructure, such as data centers.

LG has once again left a lasting impression on visitors to ISH, one of the world’s biggest annual tradeshows for HVAC, water and sanitation solutions. Held in Frankfurt, Germany, the event highlighted LG’s extensive range of integrated heating solutions customized for diverse environments and spaces, including high-efficiency residential heat pumps and large-capacity commercial systems. Tailormade for the European market and compliant with the European Union’s F-gas Regulation, LG’s products exclusively employ refrigerants with a low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

A major attraction at LG’s booth, the Hero zone introduced ISH visitors to the exceptional Therma V R290 Monobloc air-to-water heat pump (AWHP) for residential applications. Displayed beneath a captivating hanging façade at the center of the zone, the new Therma V boasts a sleek, minimalist design, quiet operation and outstanding cold-climate performance, thanks to LG’s advanced scroll compressor. Designed with user comfort and the health of the planet in mind, the Therma V employs R290 refrigerant, which has a GWP of 3, to reduce carbon emissions.

LG also showcased the Monobloc G and Cascade Control Unit, two sophisticated solutions suitable for multi-unit apartment buildings and large homes. The Cascade Control Unit offers flexible scalability, allowing users to add up to eight outdoor units to their HVAC system. This adaptability not only meets varying heating demands but also optimizes energy efficiency, thereby contributing to the reduction of HVAC running costs.

Another notable exhibit was the new LG heat pump water heater (HPWH) with R290 refrigerant. Displayed in a booth area designed to resemble a stylish European kitchen, the versatile HPWH R290 utilizes both air and electricity as energy sources, achieving greater efficiency than traditional electric or a gas-powered water heaters. Its simple design ensures compatibility with various installation environments and customer needs, offering seamless integration with various types of indoor units, such as control, hydro and combi.

In response to recent EU restrictions on refrigerant usage, LG has launched a complete lineup of reliable commercial HVAC solutions utilizing R32 refrigerant (GWP of 675). Visitors learned about the innovative, large-capacity Inverter Scroll Chiller, which leverages twin inverter scroll compressors to maximize cooling power and operational efficiency. The Inverter Scroll Chiller can be integrated with LG’s Building Energy Control (BECON) CPM system, which utilizes advanced AI technologies to simplify control and monitoring of LG’s commercial HVAC solutions.

The Multi V i R32 variable refrigerant flow (VRF) solution was another attraction at LG’s booth. Incorporating the company’s AI engine, the Multi V i intelligently manages temperatures across multiple indoor spaces. This VRF solution includes a full package of integrated solutions, including a number of safety features and systems designed to enhance stability and reliability, and provides time-saving troubleshooting assistance with Smart Diagnosis.

LG, a pathfinder for innovative heating, has been at the forefront of HVAC innovation for several decades and continues to show the way forward. With its comprehensive exhibit of efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions at ISH 2025, the company reaffirmed its commitment to decarbonization and to paving the way to a better future for all.

LG Recognized in the Automotive Category of This Year’s List for Driving
Mobility Innovation With Its Advanced SDV and In-vehicle Technologies

SEOUL, March 19, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG), a global leader in mobility technology, has been named to Fast Company’s The World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025 list in the automotive category, announced on March 18. This recognition highlights LG’s strong performance and continuing success as a pioneer of software-driven mobility solutions.
Fast Company, one of the world’s preeminent business media brands, has published The World’s Most Innovative Companies list every year since 2008. The list acknowledges organizations that have made a meaningful impact through their commitment to innovation, ranking the top-performing businesses across 58 industry categories.
A trusted mobility partner, LG is making rapid progress in the pursuit of its bold “living space on wheels” business direction, which reimagines the traditional automobile as an intelligent, connected environment. The company’s seamlessly integrated infotainment systems, displays, telematics and AI-powered technologies enhance safety and comfort for drivers and passengers, while also bringing the personalization and convenience of the smart home to the in-car experience.
LG is realizing its futuristic vision through advancements such as the AI-powered in-cabin sensing solution, designed to make vehicles more intuitive and responsive to their occupants’ needs. Employing Vision AI and an array of sensors, LG’s solution monitors the heart rate, facial expressions and attentiveness of the driver and passengers in real time to assess their physical and emotional state. By detecting whether the driver is fatigued, stressed or distracted, and providing appropriate cues or reminders, it can help improve road safety. The company’s sophisticated sensing solution also offers personalized driving routes, real-time traffic updates and smart in-cabin adjustments.
Being named to Fast Company’s The World’s Most Innovative Companies list follows a year of major successes for the LG Vehicle Solution (VS) Company. Accessibility in technology transcends mere innovation; it is about making everyday life better for everyone. At CSUN AT 2025, LG participated as the first global home appliance company to showcase its universal approach to accessibility.

The “CSUN Assistive Technology Conference,” organized by the Center on Disabilities at California State University Northridge, is recognized as the world’s largest event focused on assistive technology. Major global tech companies, including Google, Amazon, Apple and Microsoft, participate annually to introduce their new accessibility technologies and gain valuable insights.

As the pioneering global home appliance company to exhibit at the CSUN conference, LG unveiled accessibility innovations designed to enable a “Better Life for All.” At the 40th annual CSUN conference in March, LG showcased smart home innovations, AI technologies and accessory devices aimed at helping consumers with disabilities and senior citizens use products more conveniently.

For the U.S. consumer market, LG demonstrated various solutions that enhance user experiences through attachable accessories and software updates for home appliances and consumer electronics.

The LG Comfort Kit, introduced in North America for the first time this year, was developed in response to user concerns. LG created several accessories to make appliances easier to operate, including easy handles for people with limited strength to open the laundry detergent drawer and washer and dryer doors, and an easy-to-use dial for washing machines. The company continues to expand the Comfort Kit lineup by listening to feedback from a variety of consumers, including those with mobility impairments, visual impairments, as well as children and seniors.

Another highlight of the exhibition was a newly-developed commercial kiosk featuring height- adjustable capabilities and tactile keypads. This kiosk allows wheelchair users to easily adjust the screen height to their eye level. A new tactile keypad accessory designed to enhance accessibility for visually impaired consumers also was introduced at the conference.

Complementing its technology demonstrations in the booth, LG hosted a half-day workshop addressing topics such as AI smart homes, universal design including comfort kits, and accessible kiosks. Discussions included new assistive technologies and ways to alleviate customer pain points to create more convenient environments. Workshop participants included accessibility stakeholders from the Shepherd Center, the University of Maryland, UC Berkeley, the American Council of the Blind and the National Center for Accessible Media, who all shared their expertise and insights on improving accessibility in products.

According to LG Electronics ESG Strategy Head Justin Hong, LG’s role at CSUN 2025 exemplifies the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility for home appliance users and to realize its Better Life for All ESG vision. “Accessibility is at the heart of our innovation, driving us to push boundaries and exceed expectations,” he says. “It is particularly meaningful to showcase various products launching in North America as we continue our efforts to contribute to a Better Life for All with some of the easiest-to-use and most convenient products on the planet.”

LG was excited to participate in CSUN AT for the first time and present its newest accessibility-focused solutions debuting in North America. The event was a great opportunity to highlight the company’s ongoing commitment to improving lives for everyone by offering products that enhance convenience and ease of use.

With its first appearance at CSUN AT 2025, LG reaffirmed its commitment to universal design and accessibility. By introducing thoughtfully designed solutions that enhance convenience for disabled and senior users, LG continues to push for a more inclusive future.
