App Giveaway: Slideshow Presentation HD

There's a decent enough photo viewing app on the TouchPad. But that's what it is - decent. Sure, you can run a slideshow on it, but what about putting in music, changing the display order, and including captions for each photo? Well, that's where an app like the recently over-hauled

link hidden, please login to view
comes in - you can do all that and more. Transitions? It's got twenty-five. Zoom settings? Stretch or fill, even on a per-image basis. Want to do individual folders, or even files? Yep, it can do that. How much would this cost you? Normally it's $0.99, but we just so happen to have 100 copies to give away to you, dear readers.

Contest: We have 100 copies of Slideshow Presentation HD to give away. Just leave a comment on this post to enter. Contest ends next Sunday at midnight US Eastern Time, after which time we will select 100 random entrants to win. Please only leave one comment, multiple entries won’t count. Promo codes are only valid in countries serviced by the App Catalog, and users must be running webOS 3.0.2 or higher with the latest version of the App Catalog.

i want to use the LG TV as more of an ART picture frame than a TV.  I would like to change the picture I show on the TV every 2 hours, maybe just once per day.   I don't think there is an app to do this?
I have some programming skills and this might be a fun project, however I want to check if all the tools that are provided actually work before I start this project
      SDK
      simulator
      installing my own app
I would develop in a windows environment,

Anyone have any success out there developing an app for this TV

      Thanks,

      Hi all,
I'm looking into options to display info/dashboards in screens across the office as well as being used as a wireless HDMI cable for presentations. I'd like to know if I find these features on the LG OS.
I explain. When nobody is doing a presentation I'd like the screnens to displays a webpage or pages (with info, statisctics,..). Once we need the screen for a presentation, we can "connect" wirelessly to the device to display what we have on the screen of a laptop/tablet,...
There's a device that does all that, it is called, Airtame. And I wonder if I can have these features directly form the TV/webOS
      Thank you
      Oli

How do I get the slideshow to shuffle all photos on a USB drive, or is there another app I can install to do this?
I would have though this would be one of the first things anybody would want to do with photos - just shuffle everything in every folder on this USB stick (like what every electronic photo frame can do).
Instead I have to manually select each and every folder and wait for it to go through sequentially.
      Thanks

Maybe it took us a while to get this one judged. But we got it done! There were a lot of really really great entries for our
link hidden, please login to view, which made judging who deserved to win one of these rare brand-new webOS smartphones more difficult than we'd anticipated. After sleeping on it for a while, it's time to announce the winners! You can check out the winning video entries after the break…
