To reinforce its foothold in this vital market, LG Taiwan recently held the LG gram 2024 Series Launch Event at Zhuori Coffee Shop in Taipei. The event, which was presented in the form of a light teatime talk session, invited journalists and editors, especially those who contribute to media platforms frequented by digital creators, business professionals and freelancers – the people who stand to benefit the most from the gram’s unparalleled versatility to the unique showcase.
The event showcased two key areas: the LG gram highlight zone and the demonstration zone, where the spotlight shone on the key features of the 2024 lineup. Among them were the powerful gram Link, seamlessly integrated AI capabilities, energy-efficient performance and meticulously crafted lightweight designs, all tailored to elevate communication across diverse scenarios. Boasting a harmonious blend of power and portability, the LG gram series’ ultra-lightweight laptops combine high-end specifications with exceptionally slim yet durable designs and all-day battery life.
Guests were able to experience each laptop from the latest gram series, including LG gram, LG gram Pro, LG gram Pro 2-in-1 and LG gram Super Slim. The event was designed to allow them to immerse themselves fully in the exceptional usability of the product while receiving detailed explanations in person. What impressed them the most were the laptops’ outstanding portability, sleek styling and premium performance.
The devices on display left a lasting impression through their slim and lightweight designs, two aspects that have become synonymous with the LG gram brand. It was the perfect opportunity to reveal something LG Taiwan has been working on for some time – a collaboration with ‘boven Magazine Library,’ the only magazine library in Taiwan, to launch the “LG gram x boven Pop-up Store” which will run from April to June this year. As part of this joining of forces, limited edition collaborative gifts will be given out at boven Magazine Library branches in Taipei and Tainan, where visitors can also witness the latest LG gram offerings.

2024 LG gram Laptops Provide High-Performance AI Capabilities
and Innovative Connectivity Through ‘LG gram Link’ App
SEOUL, Dec. 28, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) is expanding its LG gram series in 2024, offering consumers a wider selection of compelling choices, including the new LG gram Pro. The perfect blend of power and portability, LG gram series ultra-lightweight laptops combine high-end specifications with exceptionally slim yet durable designs and all-day battery life. All 2024 models come with the latest AI-enabled functions on LG gram Link app, simplifying tasks like file sharing, photo sharing and screen mirroring across LG gram, Android and iOS devices.
LG gram Pro and LG gram Pro 2-in-1
LG’s best-in-class LG gram Pro laptops (models 16Z90SP and 17Z90SP) come equipped with a Intel® Core Ultra processor with hybrid architecture, an NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card.1 The new LG gram Pro laptops are also embedded with the Intel® AI Boost, Intel’s neural processing unit (NPU) that can handle AI workloads even without a network connection.
Moreover, the new LG grams include the compatibility-boosting LG gram Link app, which facilitates effortless file sharing, photo transfers and screen mirroring between LG gram (Windows) and Android or iOS devices.2 The app also has an integrated AI function that intelligently categorizes photos stored on gram and simplifies image searches through keyword identification. Strengthening compatibility and the overall LG gram experience, LG gram Link builds an interconnected ecosystem of devices, such as running smartphones and tablets with LG gram’s keyboard and mouse, offering users enhanced connectivity and scalability.
The new LG gram Pro models feature a dual cooling system. The LG gram Pro laptops deliver stunning picture quality with superb color and contrast, offering 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.3 Both models come with a Wide Quad XGA resolution (WQXGA / 2,560 x 1,600) IPS display, while the 16-inch LG gram Pro is also available with a WQXGA+ (2,880 x 1,800) resolution OLED display. The smaller 15- and 14-inch models offer supreme transportability and an equally satisfying user experience. All models in the 2024 LG gram family are equipped with a built-in Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080) webcam for video calling and conferencing. The laptop which has been on sale from the LG online shop has been advertised as a 2TB hard drive - seems there is a mistake on the web page and it's only 1TB - which was strikingly obvious when mine arrived. Seems LG hadn't spotted the cock up. 1hr45 on the phone to customer support and still not resolved

I love the Always Ready feature on my LG C3. I've configured it to include the beautiful wallpaper options and it works great with the LG remote.
However, I use a Chromecast remote to control my TV and my Chromecast together. I've configured the Chromecast power button to control the TV's power. Unfortunately, the Chromecast remote's power button turns the TV off instead of switching it to Always Ready mode.
LG support agent told me the Chromecast remote is "probably not fully compatible" with the feature.
Does anyone here have a solution?
If not, it would be great if someone from LG put this in as a feature request.

In June 2023, LG launched YTN on LG Channels in Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Europe, bringing live news directly from Korea’s first 24-hour news service to a global audience.
