How to wirelessly use my LG OLED65B7A as a 2nd monitor to my pc laptop running Win10Pro ?

As of a few days ago, my OLED65B7A started showing strange pixelation on the WebOS UI. My Directv that is plugged into the HDMI port shows just fine but using the WebOS UI to scroll through apps or look at the settings, or even inside apps like Netflix or Prime, etc., the strange pixelation occurs (once a Netflix/Prime show starts, it's fine). It's as if the front interface layer or something is broken but not the main viewing screen/area?
Does anyone know what is going on? I've reset the TV to initial settings and ran the Pixel Refresher.

I just got this OLED65b7a TV yesterday. I have everything set up.
My setup is shown in the attachment
I have a couple of problems I can't resolve.
1. Sound comes from two sources simultaneously.
I turn on the xbox which turns on the receiver and the cable box and outputs signal back to receiver to the TV (hdmi ARC).
I turn on the TV and see and hear the TV through the xbox. (or I choose a game or something else on the xbox and see and hear that on the TV)
I choose on the TV to show Live TV from the internet.
Now both sounds come out from both sources. I think the sound system is doing one and the TV speakers are doing the Live TV.
2. I want to control the cable box with the remote.
When I want to configure the remote for the cable box, it wants the cable box to be plugged into the TV. If I do that, the remote can control the cable box, but when I return the hdmi to the receiver, I don't think the remote still worked. I think it said there was nothing connected or something.
3. Should I be changing my connections?
Should I be plugging the cable box and the xbox into the TV? And then go from the TV to the receiver? How will the remote work then? Will I be able to turn the xbox on and off with the TV remote? Will I have to disable the devices that the xbox is turning on and off through the Kinect IR blaster?
Thanks a lot for any direction in this. So far I haven't found anything on the web that is set up like mine to model after.

There are a great many things you can do wirelessly with the HP TouchPad - heck you can charge the darned thing without plugging it in. But transferring files from your desktop computer to the tablet has always involved either a giving a song-and-dance performance to appease the cloud syncing gods or just plugging in with a Micro-USB cable. We at webOS Nation do a lot of screencapping, and we've taken to just emailing the shots to ourselves as the fastest and simplest method to get the images back-and-forth.

link hidden, please login to view. So he whipped up a Samba installer for webOS and put together a the cunningly named app WiFi File Sharing. The app, currently available in the , when opened turns your TouchPad into a local network drive accessible by your computer. Simple as that. Out-of-the-box, WiFi File Sharing is set up to allow access to a newly-created Public folder, though with just a few taps in the Preferences pane you can allow access to the entirety of your USB drive and boot partitions. That's not just browsing access - WiFi File Sharing mounts your TouchPad as a fully-accessible network drive, complete with read and write privileges. All you have to do is have WiFi File Sharing open and in the foreground ("maximized") to maintain the connection. Toss the app away and the connection is automatically terminated.
Ideally your computer should be able to automatically the TouchPad right off the bat after installing and launching, but there's always room for finickiness. This is why we're beginning the migration to tablets as everyday devices - they're just nowhere near as finicky. Anyway, on first launch we couldn't get our Mac to notice that there was a fun new network drive to play with. But directing our file browser to connect to the server (Go > Connect to Server… (no password) on a Mac, Start > Computer > Map Network Drive for PC) solved the issue handily.
Now we're wirelessly slinging files back and forth through the ether, and we find ourselves agreeing with ShiftyAxel - . Sure, it's a an advanced feature, but it'd be there to supplement the cloud and cabled options. Either way, and are available now through our Homebrew Gallery, . Go download it. Now.

Hello!
Newbie here!
I have an LG OLED65B7A. It works well enough connected via ethernet cable to my network.
I want to use my LG OLED65B7A as another monitor to my laptop.
I know this can be done using some kind of wireless technology, Miracast, etc.
But do I need to have my LG OLED65B7A connected to my WiFi to set this up?
However, my LG OLED65B7A will not connect to my WiFi even though the WiFi router is just 3 feet away !
I know the WiFi is good: I have several pc's and my cellphone connected.
There is a "SCREEN SHARE" (Miracast) option in the LG OLED65B7A, but when
I select it (using the LG's remote and pressing the input button) this message
pops up:
"The device cannot be connect to your TV.
Please try again. If the issue persists, please restart you TV or
check your device."
So I'm taking this to mean that my pc laptop cannot connect to my LG OLED65B7A ?
More: when I go to the full display of options in the OLED65B7A, and go down to Network,
it tells me the Wi-Fi Connection is "Not Connected. When I then go into the Wi-Fi
Connection, it tells me,
"Wi-Fi is turned off. Turn it on to see the list of available networks that you can
connect to and additional related menu items."
Again, I know the WiFi is good: I have several pc's and my cellphone connected
to it and they work perfectly.
I've tried manually entering the SSID of my WiFi: the OLED65B7A will not see it, & will not connect.
Any hints?
What am I missing?
I have previously used an HDMI cable from my laptop into an HDMI port
of the OLED65B7A and this works for me to use the TV as a giant monitor
for my pc laptop.
Must I disconnect the wired connection first to get the OLED65B7A connected to WiFi ?
Any suggestions much appreciated!
