This tip is only for the HP TouchPad

FlixiWhen Exhibition mode was introduced with webOS 2.1, it gave developers the ability to create whole apps or just a subset of features without the typical concerns like power consumption. If you had an app that required updating every few seconds or minutes, such as stock quote or sports score app, you would eat through your battery life extraordinary quickly. However, if you were to know that the device would always be charging on a touchstone with the screen on, you would have a lot more freedom in what you could do. This can be extremely beneficial for social networking apps that require a real-time feed for updates, such as Twitter or Facebook.

In the case of an exhibition-based Twitter app, your best option is

by Under Clouds Games, available in the HP App Catalog for $2.99 and recently updated for the .  Flixi is not technically a twitter client, but rather a multi-purpose screensaver app that gives you the ability to view multiple types of information on the screen at the same time. This can include the weather, a RSS news feed, the time, your Google calendar, a twitter feed, or more, and can be arranged in one of 17 pre-arranged layouts.

Once you open up the app or switch to it in Exhibition Mode (make sure you have already ), just tap the Flixi Settings settings icon and set up your dashboard as required, selecting Twitter for at least one of your panels. Once logged on to Twitter, you will see an almost real-time update of your Twitter feed in the app. There is no action needed to refresh the feed, it will do all the work for you. But be advised that Flixi is not a full-scale Twitter app. You can only see the latest 40 or so tweets, but you can not reply to tweets in the app itself, nor get access to the history view of a twitter "conversation." While you get quick at-a-glance updates to twitter and even load up a website with an in-app browser, you will still need a full Twitter app or go to Twitter.com to post new or interact with any tweets.

is available in the webOS App Catalog for $2.99 and is compatible with all webOS devices running webOS 3.0.2 or higher

I'm having this problem with LG Oled 65c16LA with WebOs Version 03.40.85
When I turn off the TV, it goes into standby mode.
After 2 minutes the red standby LED turns off and it is no longer possible to turn the TV back on with the remote or with the power on button.
It is then necessary to unplug the power supply, wait a few minutes and reconnect it.
So the TV goes back to standby and you can turn it on again. In use everything works.
Is it a software problem? How can I solve it?
      Thank you

I have a LG CX 55 2023 TV and like it. I use it for work, and the dimming-after-1-minite feature is super frustrating. So I used the instructions here (
link hidden, please login to view) to turn off TPC, GSR and scrolling. It worked well and I was happy. But when the TV turns on a few hours, I've got an ugly window saying "Factory Mode: Press INSTOP to go to User Mode. Press Green Key 7 times to go to User Mode (user remote control.)
I hate this menu, and I hate having the ability to turn off zoom on a TV I'm using for work or youtube. Can anyone help me solve this issue and get rid of the monitor? I have another LG TV purchase on hold while I determine if there's a way to do this to my satisfaction or not. If they really have messed up LG TVs by making no way to turn off the dimming, I will also find a way to return my current TV to Costco despite having used it for six months.
When I tried this before, I learned that the INSTOP button will do a complete factory reset. This is NOT what I want, unless I really have no way to turn off the dimming. In which case I will cancel my other LG monitor purchase and make other plans.

This is a question about the IR Blaster port on the backside of the OLED G3 TV. I understand that the LG Magic Remote can be configured to control third-party devices through its IR blaster. Does anyone know if the LG TV's blaster is limited to working with the LG Magic Remote or is it possible for the LG blaster to pass-through the IR signal from a third-party remote to my device located behind the TV? I don't want to configure the LG Magic Remote to control my device. I would prefer to use my device's remote and just have the LG TV pass the IR signal from the frontside of the TV to the backside of the TV where my device can see it. Does this make sense?
