      Issue configuring IR based control, and optical audio soundbar

      Apparently, the LG model OLED55CSPUA has an issue with the external device power on/off control. I can configure the IR Bose soundbar well enough, as setup sequence tests it good to control soundbar power. but after exiting the setup, when i press the external device power button on the remote, the TV just wants to cycle through the setup again.  It doesn't toggle soundbar power, just cycles back to the setup.   i have tried factory settings reset and verified that there are no other devices on the TV.

      Enhancing Productivity and Personalization with LG gram AI
      The 2025 gram laptops present a smarter, more secure and highly-personalized user experience through LG’s innovative gram AI. With gram chat On-Device, these laptops utilize AI algorithms to process and analyze data locally without requiring a network connection. At the same time, they provide convenient access to cloud-based AI services via gram chat Cloud, powered by GPT-4o. This subscription-based service, which uses GPT-4o, is offered free of charge for the first year. The integration of on-device and cloud-based AI creates a hybrid AI solution that enhances productivity by delivering personalized insights, a comprehensive knowledge base and an intuitive, ever-evolving experience that adapts to users’ needs.
      gram chat On-Device employs a small language model derived from LG AI Research’s EXAONE large language model. This enables fast and secure local processing to provide relevant answers and simplify device management.       At the forefront of the 2025 lineup is the LG gram Pro (model 17Z90TR), a laptop that presents the best of performance and portability. This advanced hardware combination enables the gram Pro to effortlessly handle a variety of demanding tasks, from resource-intensive graphic design and 3D-rendering work to video editing and running the latest AAA games.
      The lineup also includes the new LG gram Pro (model 16Z90TS), the first Copilot+ PC in the gram series. Measuring just 0.49 inches thick and weighing 2.73 pounds, it delivers remarkable portability. Another highlight is the 16Z90TR, boasting a 16-inch display and an impressively light weight of only 2.64 pounds. As the lightest model in the 2025 gram Pro lineup, it exemplifies gram’s signature lightweight design while delivering powerful performance.

      Latest Web OS Screwed my Soundbar

      Another unwanted update, bringing unwanted changes and now my Cambridge Audio soundbar is screwed.
      My LG TV just performed an auto update to WebOS 13.30.56. When the TV restarted, all I now get out of the ARC connection is a constant loud buzzing, no programme audio. Well done LG software team. A triumph! 
      I have tried resetting the soundbar (it plays fine if I plug in an external device) but all I get from the LG TV is BUZZZZZZZ. I tried restarting both the TV and the Soundbar: BUZZZZZZZZZ. I tried a new HDMI cable BUZZZZZZZZ. So what do I do now?? I did not want this OS update, it brings nothing to me and everything was working perfectly before the update and sound on the (awful) inbuilt LG TV speakers is working, but the ARC audio output to my rather lovely Cambridge Audio soundbar is now, since the Web OS update, just a constant BUZZZZZZZ. I decided to try the Optical output of the LG connected to the soundbar instead. The soundbar is flashing "AUDIO ERROR" at me (I have tried all of the different audio output format options, all with the same result).
      It really pi$$es me off when software teams release badly executed updates that break their customers devices. We are not your R&D test department LG, we are paying customers with whom you lose trust, brand loyalty and future sales when poor engineering teams release software updates that are not fully tested. God only knows what LG have done here but after 2 hours of trying to resolve an issue THEY caused on my setup, I have given up.
      Has anyone else had this issue and have suggestions please? I have tried to contact LG using their Email Support function, wading through the multiple layers to get to the right page and spending time typing up all the details of my support request, etc, but no response yet (other than the automated bot stuff).

      SEOUL, Dec. 11, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) has been honored with FinanceAsia’s prestigious Achievement Award for the “Best Bond Deal” in the North Asia region, which includes Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. This recognition comes in light of LG’s successful issuance of global bonds worth USD 800 million in April this year.

      Having problems switching between my BT headphones and HMDI ARC soundbar, please help!

      Just got a new 55in C4 and a Denon DHT-S316 Soundbar. With my very old LG I like to have the TV connected to the speakers during the day and in the evenings I would switch to bluetooth headphones. I could easily turn off my headphones and switch back to the optical sound output with no issues.
      However I tried this and while I connected my headphones with no issues, once I disconnected I couldn't get the sound to come back through the sound bar without having to with the TV and sound bar off which feels crazy at this point in time and the cost of the TV when my very old LG did this with now issues.
       
      Any suggestions much welcomed.
