Hey guys,

my tv is a LG 55UC970V. After the last update version 05.05.75 the hdmi ports are not working anymore. I would like to downgrade my firmware to an older one with the help of LGDTVUpdater, but the the tv don't want to downgrade the firmware because it's an older one than the one on the tv.

Any solutions to this problem?

Hi guys, newcomer here.

I bought a 65c8 oled tv, and i have severe sound sync problems with my lg home cinema via bluetooth, and not so severe via arc.

my tv came with 3.05 if i recall, and it was updated to 4.10.05, and yesterday it did 4.10.15.

Sound sync problems still persist, and my autoupdate shows no updates, any firmwares recommended to fix my issues?

Thanks in advance

5.90.10 does not seem to exist and LG seems to have forgotten about 5.90.* versions.

I suggest you to force update to 5.80.10

Hi everybody. I have an issue with my 49UJ634V: Since the 5.80.10 firmware update, almost every time I switch on the TV, the wired network doesn't work. It appears as disconnected in the menu, and the only way I can get it working again is by pulling the plug and switching it completely off than on again. It worked perfectly with 4.70.xx, so I'd like to get back and downgrade. Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance.

I can logon to my RG, (remote gateway), and check the status of the wired  and wireless connections which show active or inactive for these ports.  Have you tried to determine the status of your wired connection during a failure?  I have the new FW installed and do NOT have the problem you describe.  This may be a problem with your RG.

Yes. I can remotely downgrade any Tv to any firmware. I doubt though that your problem is related to the new firmware because nothing has changed in that department. Drop me a PM if you still need the downgrade.

I updated the Australian software on my LG E7 OLED to 05.80.15 and now the colours are all washed out on my 4k set top box ! (Foxtel iq4 with HDMI deep true colour activated) When I set the resolution to 1080p it's ok, but when the resolution is set to 2160p I get washed out colours ... Reds are Orange etc. Before the update it was fine.

I believe this firmware has an issue with 4k 50hz devices plugged into where the BT.2020 colour space is incompatible. As when I set my Apple TV to 4k 50hz I get the washed out colours as well.

I got this used TV and its model is 79UB980T-TA. I do not have LG Content Store and hence cannot get Netflix.

Moreover I have tried using Netflix on it from web but somehow after logging in to my account it does not further proceed.

I have tried almost everything. I have the latest updated software and still I am unable to get LG ContentStore plus Netflix.

I have this TV in Pakistan and I have no idea which country model is this TV. I have also changed location on TV settings but of no help.

any chance to get an update for 43uj750v ? current version (starfish-dvb-secured-m16p-611.dunggir.m16p-61106-05.80.15-prodkey_usb_V3_SECURED.epk) made the TV completely unusable outside onscreen controls: remote and wifi stop work randomly like there is a serious issue in the wireless connection, even after a factory reset.

Last official version is 05.80.10 and last beta version is 05.80.20.
Where did you get 5.80.15?!

If you send me a PM I can make you downgrade the firmware or you can install the beta 5.90.03 which is older than these but has higher number and it works.
Check my post with all firmware versions for UJ TVs.

43UJ750V uses software named with substring "m16p " while all the firmware you listed are "k3lp". I tried to install "k3lp" updates with greater version bet it didn't work.

All those models have the last software update with version 5.80.15:

1. To improve Intermittent no audio issue during watching LiveTV.

For me this update is a no-go, it add issues to all wireless connection, from remote to wifi (especially on 5.0GHz connections), it's like a software bug since the entire OS become randomly unstable and unresponding, remote included. Switching to 2.4GHz, turn off auto-update and time adjustment only mitigate a little the situation, but it is very frustrating when the OS starts to freak out.  I also tried a factory reset but didn't help much, after a couple of days all was the same...

I really wish they add an official way to downgrade..

EDIT:

direct links for nsu version (those two have the same checksum):

Send me a PM. I can downgrade your firmware safely.
Sorry I thought you had k3lp platform because I have 55UJ670V and I thought the 750 had the same platform.

On our LG G1 OLED, when watching a program on Binge, the Binge app restarts itself every 20 minutes or so with a message about needing to restart to free up memory. Power-cycling the TV doesn't fix the problem, nor does running the "Memory Optimiser" function from system settings. None of the other streaming service apps we have on the TV have this problem - Prime Video, Stan, Netflix, Disney+, Britbox, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Youtube. Those are the only other apps installed on the TV. I've checked the LG WebOS version and checked for app updates, and everything is latest version.
If I run the Binge Android app on my Chromecast with Google TV, it works without any problems when streaming the same programs.

Samsung has made fridges with touchscreens before. LG has made fridges with doors that turn transparent to show you the inside. This year at CES 2018, those two ideas are finally merging into one with LG’s new InstaView ThinQ smart refrigerator, which features a 29-inch touchscreen that becomes transparent if users knock on it twice.
LG actually tried this two years ago, with a version called the Smart InstaView Door-in-Door that ran a full version of Windows 10, but it’s not clear that the company ever shipped the Windows version.
This version uses the touchscreen to manage your food using LG’s webOS software and Amazon’s Alexa, which will let you tag food with virtual stickers and expiration dates and get automatic reminders when things are running low or about to go bad. There’s also a wide-angle panoramic camera on the inside of the fridge that will let you remotely view your fridge while you’re out and about to check and see if you’re actually out of milk or not.

Unfortunately, the only image that LG has shared showing the fridge is a low-resolution shot on its YouTube page banner, but it seems that you’ll be able to still use the screen while it’s translucent, allowing you to tag food directly in a vaguely augmented reality-esque move.
LG is also touting how all of its ThinQ kitchen gadgets can talk to each other to make kitchen tasks easier. So your ThinQ fridge can talk to your EasyClean oven, which will help you cook food through step-by-step instructions from the recipe app from your fridge. Then, your EasyClean oven can notify your QuadWash dishwasher about the kind of meal you cooked, so it can more efficiently select a wash cycle for that dish. Of course, all this requires spending thousands of dollars replacing every appliance in your kitchen (and if this all works as well as LG claims it does), but it’s still an intriguing vision of a Jetsons-like future utopia.
No price or release date for the InstaView ThinQ refrigerator or any of LG’s other new appliances have yet been announced.
