If LG C8 (which I don't know) has webOS, then yes.

Anyone experiencing issues with Smart IPTV on Lg with latest firmware? For example playing any movie / series upon pausing or skipping ahead the page just keeps on buffering and never continues the only solution is to delete and re install the app which is bonkers. Anyone found a solution for this?

This seems to have worked at the moment, keep you posted... Turned off the automatic time. Just on wired ethernet. Turned off the wireless network. Most important. RENAMED the name of the TV. Eg LG TV 9854g etc... To delete one character. I chose the V from TV so if it needs to be put back I can. So it now reads LG T 9854g.. Please can you let me know. My messages were coming through every 5 second time. Its been an hour since an non. Fingers crossed. Hoping its fooled the hardware to software firmware issue if there is any 🙏🙂

I downloaded the latest WEBOS firmware (from LG offcial website for my model) for UM7XXX series (I have 55UM7450PLA) and the picture is awfull after the update! I was at 04.70.20 and the update which destroyed my picture (blurry logos and subs, heavy compression on the pic and logos) is 04.71.25. And Im afraid to revert with the guide I found becasue Im afraid I will brick my new TV. I already did cold reboot and revert to initial settings, changed alot of the picture settings but no help. This is disaster.

UM7xxx is from LG's cheap line and you can't expect much..

Well, before I updated the firmware the "cheap line tv" had much better picture. So you see, your statement is irrelevant.

BTW I found out how to precisely describe the poor picture quality. Its very similar to "water color" effect, more noticable on ppls faces which are in the distance.

Hi all, I downloaded yesterday the most recent version for my LG 65EPLA - WebOS  05.10.45

It was all great till yesterday when it was probably release because of the arrive of Disney+ here in Italy.

Nothing to say about the version even if now the Disney+ seems now frozen at the login phase  and I cannot login anymore.

Could it be released soon a new version in you opinion?

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

      Hey guys !!!
I have a UHD UJ634v  LG webos Tv  that lately an error message pops on the screen staying : Tv signal has been lost due to the satellite LNB short.Check LNB connection"
This is really getting on my nerves because I can't get any signal even after resetting the TV or even updating to the last  software version.
I check my cable line and fixed every possible problem. The error message keeps showing up even after disconnecting cable line from the back of TV just as if a short circuit or something has happened inside the Tv.
Do you think that'd be software or hardware failure or something else??? How to fix it?
Please help me out with this cuz all my lovely satellite TV channels are gone 😐
Here is the actual error message on the right top o the screen
      Thanks in advance !!!
