read here:
it seems that it is no longer developed the silicon valley webos, but in korea, what they write here.
Here "if true", the catch that has trimmed "LG" selling us these tv, with great hardware but and bad software , who wants to do everything, but it does very badly.
If so, perhaps, would be the case that we begin to seek reimbursement for equipment that does not give us for what it cost us.

Perhaps it would be that we begin to send in korea lg e-mails of complaint, for this unfortunate situation.

excuse the link but it is an important thing.

No such firmware for this model. Please don't write rubbish..

Last version for this model is 4.41.32

No he´s right... it´s the developers version, there´s a russian board where you can find all beta firmware´s for the lg tv´s.

Will post the link when i found it.

But just for your information: if you are on the 5.99.99 developer version you are not able to record any programms.

It´s still for development!

I look forward WebOS version 2.0 for tv model 2014 ... rom developer

For Medel 2014, reportedly only updates for UHD models and on WebOS 1.5 Light, which will have most of the features WebOS 2.0 and make multiple versions of HEVC for DVB-T2.

42LB731V bought and used in Spain, I'm using a UK webOs account. Manual update today from 4,32,23 I think to 4,45,04.

Not too much difference, possibly a little quicker bringing menus up.

Fingers crossed, will now try setting up simplink.

Does enyone know what's new in 4.45.04 versoin? We are all glead that we get it, but we still don't know what changed on it. And of course, from LG we never get any kind of information.

Briefly looking through menus I didn't see anything noticeable. But the menus certainly load quicker. Smart share with 500gb WD drive is now more usable, still a little slow scrolling through the list of films. But definitely a big speed improvement. The developers are going in the right direction.

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?
