A month ago I did update to 04.45.04, then tv began to act very slow. Then I find out that LG has withdrawn the update.

I was informed by the LG support that there were some problems with this update that and that it was retired but is working on a patch that will be released soon.

Then after a few days i see the 04.45.04 update that is released (probably without bug now). But I can not update because Its the same version ..

I am also update the firmware when it came out but I had no problems with speed. Compared to the previous firmware do not see any acceleration, except that now the "out of memory. app is closed" is renamed to "this app will close to free up more memory" but that bug has not as often as before...Now we can only wait for the next update which I hope will be webOS 2.0.

no facebook, no tweeter, no flash player , "insuficient memory" when playing over dlna... what is "smart" in LG tvs?.

WebOs sucks..

They should add at least flash player support to webos

I don't need 2.0 update

Only flash player support enough. And Memory full bug should be fixed

I think that lg must update the 2014 tv to webos 2.0 because they will not sell the new TV's, because webos 1.3 is not working as advertised. So the people who want to buy a TV will go with other companies and depart from webos.

I'm disappointed because webos has promised a lot and not delivered.

Hi Gs_pot

Forget that u will have flash player un ur tv .

And in serious its just a tv and if u are looking for facebook and tweeter its better thru ur phone or ur laptop

I don't want Facebook and tweeter on tv

Tv has lot of bugs I think I had made big mistake by choosing Lg webos tv. I just want flash player support Nothing else

I will suggest everyone please don't but smart tv

Just buy branded full Hd tv and one smart box like minix

Bs. "Smart boxes" can be pure crap too. Branded or not. Like netflix with low resolution, hbo etc. not working and other annoying issues.

Adobe Flash dying slowly...HTML5 takes the lead!

After android 4.0 ICS there is no support for flash!Every modern TV and mobile or tablet no more flash support..

For example, YouTube used at the same time HTML5 and adobe flash, but with time it will be the only HTML5, so goodbye flash  :P

About a Facebook, Twitter and Picasa, they have decided to abolish the support for the LG TV sets..

Thoughts of flash, hope is helpful.

The smart features as advertised and I used it but Miracast needs further improvement.

Hi, I bought LG 47LB678V this week. I have got really problem find something about model 678V I believe that a design is only one difference between others 67-V models. Anyway, tv recieved only update to firmware version 04.32.20 from last October. I found on LG website for TV 679V latest firmware 04.45.04. My question is, can I download and install this firmware to my TV? I have really big problem with "out of memory" error. Thanks

This is model for German area and i can't find firmware download on their official site. Don't use from other LG site firmware that isnt for your model. I think its better to download via automatic update in tv menu. Wait for new update..

There is no update files..

      Hey guys !!!
I have a UHD UJ634v  LG webos Tv  that lately an error message pops on the screen staying : Tv signal has been lost due to the satellite LNB short.Check LNB connection"
This is really getting on my nerves because I can't get any signal even after resetting the TV or even updating to the last  software version.
I check my cable line and fixed every possible problem. The error message keeps showing up even after disconnecting cable line from the back of TV just as if a short circuit or something has happened inside the Tv.
Do you think that'd be software or hardware failure or something else??? How to fix it?
Please help me out with this cuz all my lovely satellite TV channels are gone 😐
Here is the actual error message on the right top o the screen
      Thanks in advance !!!

Does magic remote cofigurable ? Is it possible to change remote scroll wheel to sound insted of changing channel ?
If you connect to any HDMI device it taking long time to switch back to normal TV mode some time it requied to switch off an switch on.
This is dumb OS. I should have check before buying it. Please any one has answer to make it fast ?
Is it is possible to change OS if I dont want to use WebOS ?
New buyer please check before you jump to WebOS

On our LG G1 OLED, when watching a program on Binge, the Binge app restarts itself every 20 minutes or so with a message about needing to restart to free up memory. Power-cycling the TV doesn't fix the problem, nor does running the "Memory Optimiser" function from system settings. None of the other streaming service apps we have on the TV have this problem - Prime Video, Stan, Netflix, Disney+, Britbox, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Youtube. Those are the only other apps installed on the TV. I've checked the LG WebOS version and checked for app updates, and everything is latest version.
If I run the Binge Android app on my Chromecast with Google TV, it works without any problems when streaming the same programs.

In fact, Spotify doesn't offer its service to LG webOS Smartwatch now. If you want to listen to Spotify songs on LG webOS Smartwatch, you'd need a
link hidden, please login to view. With Tunelf Spotibeat Music Converter, you can and then transfer them to LG webOS Smartwatch for playing without limits.

Samsung has made fridges with touchscreens before. LG has made fridges with doors that turn transparent to show you the inside. This year at CES 2018, those two ideas are finally merging into one with LG’s new InstaView ThinQ smart refrigerator, which features a 29-inch touchscreen that becomes transparent if users knock on it twice.
LG actually tried this two years ago, with a version called the Smart InstaView Door-in-Door that ran a full version of Windows 10, but it’s not clear that the company ever shipped the Windows version.
This version uses the touchscreen to manage your food using LG’s webOS software and Amazon’s Alexa, which will let you tag food with virtual stickers and expiration dates and get automatic reminders when things are running low or about to go bad. There’s also a wide-angle panoramic camera on the inside of the fridge that will let you remotely view your fridge while you’re out and about to check and see if you’re actually out of milk or not.

Unfortunately, the only image that LG has shared showing the fridge is a low-resolution shot on its YouTube page banner, but it seems that you’ll be able to still use the screen while it’s translucent, allowing you to tag food directly in a vaguely augmented reality-esque move.
LG is also touting how all of its ThinQ kitchen gadgets can talk to each other to make kitchen tasks easier. So your ThinQ fridge can talk to your EasyClean oven, which will help you cook food through step-by-step instructions from the recipe app from your fridge. Then, your EasyClean oven can notify your QuadWash dishwasher about the kind of meal you cooked, so it can more efficiently select a wash cycle for that dish. Of course, all this requires spending thousands of dollars replacing every appliance in your kitchen (and if this all works as well as LG claims it does), but it’s still an intriguing vision of a Jetsons-like future utopia.
No price or release date for the InstaView ThinQ refrigerator or any of LG’s other new appliances have yet been announced.
