Anyone know when a european version will be available?

As LG said:

. Owners of webOS 1.0 TVs who have the automatic update option enabled will receive the upgrade automatically. If automatic update is not enabled, users will receive a pop-up message on their screen to guide them through the easy upgrade process, step by step.

Hello David. We do not know what version number in its name will have a new update. We have to wait until 21 September.

Thank you. I hope so the downgrade looks really complicated. I tried to find an unpacker for windows in a hope to patch version number to 5.10.04 but no luck lg unpack version cant/wont handle secured epk. I am worried as version seems like the numbering has been done on purpose i.e beta made 5.10.xx on purpose.?

Don't worry David, downgrade is not complicated as much as you think. We will help you, if it will be necessary.  ;)

Maybe one can edit firmware with notepad+ or some editing program

Maybe, but it is not me.  :D

Cheers Simon I thought it may be out sooner with LG releasing it in the eastern areas as reported by earlier posts.

I'm so glad I managed to downgrade. Thought I might be stuck with the beta.

Cheers Jon

OK, I understand Jon, but I do not think that the version reported by earlier posts is an update scheduled for 21 September.

I think it might be, It would be odd to release such a large update right before another one, Also I had Automatic updates unticked and received the pop up.

Can you set your TV to Australia? it should pop up then.

I did have the broadcast location set to Australia so that I could enable HIBB TV  but I suppose it would be the service location that I would have to change . How are you finding this update ?

I tried switching the service country from NZ to Australia but that didnt work. Maybe have to change the location to Australia as well but I am a bit nervous about doing that in case there are differences in the firmware between the two countries.

There is no way they would have a different version for AUS and NZ would not make any sense :)

That is true but then we have silly things like HIBB not enabled unless you switch to Aus and then reprogram all your channels (we have a different channel gap too I think.)

I would prefer not to be the first to try this :-)

My gut feeling is that the firmware is the same for AUS as NZ but like you I am not sure . Probably best to be patient  Hopefully LG has not forgotten about us in New Zealand .

Darn, I was about to suggest you give it a go then report back :-)

I did try, changed to Aus in both fields but no update then I chickened out and reverted to NZ.

It might not be a planned 21.09 release. It's because this release is not world wide. Just like on mobile phones they release a "stable" official in few countries. The soft is than again tested. After that there is next world wodę release.

      Hey guys !!!
I have a UHD UJ634v  LG webos Tv  that lately an error message pops on the screen staying : Tv signal has been lost due to the satellite LNB short.Check LNB connection"
This is really getting on my nerves because I can't get any signal even after resetting the TV or even updating to the last  software version.
I check my cable line and fixed every possible problem. The error message keeps showing up even after disconnecting cable line from the back of TV just as if a short circuit or something has happened inside the Tv.
Do you think that'd be software or hardware failure or something else??? How to fix it?
Please help me out with this cuz all my lovely satellite TV channels are gone 😐
Here is the actual error message on the right top o the screen
      Thanks in advance !!!

On our LG G1 OLED, when watching a program on Binge, the Binge app restarts itself every 20 minutes or so with a message about needing to restart to free up memory. Power-cycling the TV doesn't fix the problem, nor does running the "Memory Optimiser" function from system settings. None of the other streaming service apps we have on the TV have this problem - Prime Video, Stan, Netflix, Disney+, Britbox, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Youtube. Those are the only other apps installed on the TV. I've checked the LG WebOS version and checked for app updates, and everything is latest version.
If I run the Binge Android app on my Chromecast with Google TV, it works without any problems when streaming the same programs.

In fact, Spotify doesn't offer its service to LG webOS Smartwatch now. If you want to listen to Spotify songs on LG webOS Smartwatch, you'd need a

Samsung has made fridges with touchscreens before. LG has made fridges with doors that turn transparent to show you the inside. This year at CES 2018, those two ideas are finally merging into one with LG’s new InstaView ThinQ smart refrigerator, which features a 29-inch touchscreen that becomes transparent if users knock on it twice.
LG actually tried this two years ago, with a version called the Smart InstaView Door-in-Door that ran a full version of Windows 10, but it’s not clear that the company ever shipped the Windows version.
This version uses the touchscreen to manage your food using LG’s webOS software and Amazon’s Alexa, which will let you tag food with virtual stickers and expiration dates and get automatic reminders when things are running low or about to go bad. There’s also a wide-angle panoramic camera on the inside of the fridge that will let you remotely view your fridge while you’re out and about to check and see if you’re actually out of milk or not.

Unfortunately, the only image that LG has shared showing the fridge is a low-resolution shot on its YouTube page banner, but it seems that you’ll be able to still use the screen while it’s translucent, allowing you to tag food directly in a vaguely augmented reality-esque move.
LG is also touting how all of its ThinQ kitchen gadgets can talk to each other to make kitchen tasks easier. So your ThinQ fridge can talk to your EasyClean oven, which will help you cook food through step-by-step instructions from the recipe app from your fridge. Then, your EasyClean oven can notify your QuadWash dishwasher about the kind of meal you cooked, so it can more efficiently select a wash cycle for that dish. Of course, all this requires spending thousands of dollars replacing every appliance in your kitchen (and if this all works as well as LG claims it does), but it’s still an intriguing vision of a Jetsons-like future utopia.
No price or release date for the InstaView ThinQ refrigerator or any of LG’s other new appliances have yet been announced.
