To answer the question about OTA update over 05.10.02 BETA.

If 05.00.04 is official FW it will probably not going to be detected by TVs with 05.10.02 installed (since 05.10.02 installed on my TV did not detect 05.00.04 on my USB stick) so downgrade might be needed.

Also available automatic update! USB update not available...yet :P

Are you sure about USB update?

05.00.04 Beta - 646MB

05.00.04 Official - 646MB

Don't you think this might be the same file?

What differences you found between beta and official 05.00.04 after upgrade? - It makes no sense to go through /difficult for some/ downgrade just to reinstall the same file.

LGSAM, do you have?

I am still on   4.65.5 have had the occasional errors while using web browser , I am just making sure the 5.004 isn't worse than what I have . maybe some of these app memory problems might be model specific . I have the LB7500

Unfortunatelly, only downgrade will help for users with 05.10.02 firmwares installed, but i would recommend not to downgrade.Better leave it as is, because 05.10.02 is release candidate same as 05.00.04.I think official and latest BETA/RC's are the same files..

Nope, I've the same memory problems at LB650V and all 04.xx.xx/05.xx.xx while using web browser like you. If you can, install 05.00.04, because it's absolutely better than all previous official versions.

Thanks . I am just waiting for it to become available here in New Zealand , hopefully its not to far away .

Can you please mention your TV model please?

LG UB850T Indian Model.

Using Australian country settings.

Smartshare still couldn't play some AVI "Errors saying This file couldn't be played" which was the same error from the start.

PC plays those files just fine.

4K files above 3840x 2160p are playable. I think so.

The only reason I did downgrade from 05.10.02 to install 05.00.04 is ability to automaticly recieve future 05.00.xx updates. Usualy best FW versions are minor update versions after major update hits public.

Hello.

I am very new here. Recently bought the 65UB980T, and am awaiting delivery.

Firstly what bothers me is that mine is a flat screen but on LG site it's stated as curved for that model. Is this correct or not?

Anywayz, my actual query for posting this: In all the excitement I'm doing some read-ups, and ran into something that concerns me - INPUT LAG.

Now I have no idea on what FW the TV will be when i get it, only that its WebOS1.

So my questions are:

1. If the new fw 05.00.04 will help with input lag

2. Will the TV now be WebOS2

3. Is there a changelog for each version somewhere

Sorry for the noob questions. Thanks in advance.

1. Hope it will be acceptable..

2. No. Only 1.4 but very fast and beautiful as webOS 2.0  :)

3. No. LG never post changelogs

So, keep calm and wait your TV

I think you will be pleased  ;)

I ja sam prebacio na Srbiju i ništa mi ne prijavljuje za novu verziju. Trenutno je 04.65.05 na LG 47LB671V-ZB ?

Sent from my SHV-E160L using Tapatalk

To je zato što je 04.65.05 verzija za Australiju i Novi Zeland, za čiju regiju verovatno još nema zvaničnog apdejta, ali biće sigurno ovih dana, sati..

This is because the version 04.65.05 is for Australia and New Zealand for which the region is probably no official update yet, but probably will be in these days, hours ..

      Hey guys !!!
I have a UHD UJ634v  LG webos Tv  that lately an error message pops on the screen staying : Tv signal has been lost due to the satellite LNB short.Check LNB connection"
This is really getting on my nerves because I can't get any signal even after resetting the TV or even updating to the last  software version.
I check my cable line and fixed every possible problem. The error message keeps showing up even after disconnecting cable line from the back of TV just as if a short circuit or something has happened inside the Tv.
Do you think that'd be software or hardware failure or something else??? How to fix it?
Please help me out with this cuz all my lovely satellite TV channels are gone 😐
Here is the actual error message on the right top o the screen
      Thanks in advance !!!

I have noted that TV WebOS is very slow and when you start TV it taking long time to go to any menu.

Is there any way to make it fast ?
Is there any way that it will update program guide quickly ?
Is it possble to change Change font size ?
Does magic remote cofigurable ? Is it possible to change remote scroll wheel to sound insted of changing channel ?
If you connect to any HDMI device it taking long time to switch back to normal TV mode some time it requied to switch off an switch on.
This is dumb OS. I should have check before buying it. Please any one has answer to make it fast ?
Is it is possible to change OS if I dont want to use WebOS ?
New buyer please check before you jump to WebOS

On our LG G1 OLED, when watching a program on Binge, the Binge app restarts itself every 20 minutes or so with a message about needing to restart to free up memory. Power-cycling the TV doesn't fix the problem, nor does running the "Memory Optimiser" function from system settings. None of the other streaming service apps we have on the TV have this problem - Prime Video, Stan, Netflix, Disney+, Britbox, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Youtube. Those are the only other apps installed on the TV. I've checked the LG WebOS version and checked for app updates, and everything is latest version.
If I run the Binge Android app on my Chromecast with Google TV, it works without any problems when streaming the same programs.

In fact, Spotify doesn't offer its service to LG webOS Smartwatch now. If you want to listen to Spotify songs on LG webOS Smartwatch, you'd need a

Samsung has made fridges with touchscreens before. LG has made fridges with doors that turn transparent to show you the inside. This year at CES 2018, those two ideas are finally merging into one with LG’s new InstaView ThinQ smart refrigerator, which features a 29-inch touchscreen that becomes transparent if users knock on it twice.
LG actually tried this two years ago, with a version called the Smart InstaView Door-in-Door that ran a full version of Windows 10, but it’s not clear that the company ever shipped the Windows version.
This version uses the touchscreen to manage your food using LG’s webOS software and Amazon’s Alexa, which will let you tag food with virtual stickers and expiration dates and get automatic reminders when things are running low or about to go bad. There’s also a wide-angle panoramic camera on the inside of the fridge that will let you remotely view your fridge while you’re out and about to check and see if you’re actually out of milk or not.

Unfortunately, the only image that LG has shared showing the fridge is a low-resolution shot on its YouTube page banner, but it seems that you’ll be able to still use the screen while it’s translucent, allowing you to tag food directly in a vaguely augmented reality-esque move.
LG is also touting how all of its ThinQ kitchen gadgets can talk to each other to make kitchen tasks easier. So your ThinQ fridge can talk to your EasyClean oven, which will help you cook food through step-by-step instructions from the recipe app from your fridge. Then, your EasyClean oven can notify your QuadWash dishwasher about the kind of meal you cooked, so it can more efficiently select a wash cycle for that dish. Of course, all this requires spending thousands of dollars replacing every appliance in your kitchen (and if this all works as well as LG claims it does), but it’s still an intriguing vision of a Jetsons-like future utopia.
No price or release date for the InstaView ThinQ refrigerator or any of LG’s other new appliances have yet been announced.
