Just the Freeview Plus I think. It seems ridiculous that we have a tv that can record and a freeview guide that shows the EPG info but there is no way to record from the guide !

I am going to post on LG facebook page and see what they have to say.

Does your guide show more than 2 programmes ahead for tvnz and 3 and 4 because mine cant .

Strange. The 05.00.20 update shows me all listings and allows scheduled recording from the tv guide up to 7 days ahead. The quick programme menu only shows whats on now and next and also allows recording from the quick view. The freeview plus EPG only allows for a reminder and no recording.

Yes, just go up to the top right of the screen, select the icon that looks like a note and select what day you want.

Hi vs2,

Just wanting to clarify that the TV Guide will allow series recording ie same time, same day of week, each week, can you do that?

Thanks.

Yes it has the 'once' and 'recurring' option. A tab on the upper right gives you access to the days you want to view.

Today received 05.00.15 OTA for 50LB650V

I received 05.00.15 OTA for 42LB650V. I have standard remote control (not Magic). Problem: When I press "info" there is no possibility to scroll long description (next page).

Software: 04.65.05

Firmware: 1.3.3-3953

So yes, LG have finally sent the OTA update - notice received today as I turned off auto update.

My only real issue, one I've also just raised on the LG NZ Facebook page is, will plex still work in this 'lite' edition of WebOS2?  I'm aware Plex had their app rejected by LG for WebOS2, and are working on fixing the issues, but I'm reticent about updating if Plex doesn't work as that is pretty much all I use this LG TV for.

Can anyone who has moved onto the Lite platform confirm if Plex is working because god knows there is no helpful information coming from LG on this question.

Thanks all.

Yesterday I've updated my 47LB750T to 5.00.15 firmware. India Region.

So far its satisfactory.

Previous version had hiccups and lag in settings menu and while scrolling in browser which seems to be reduced in this new update.

Plex is working fine with the lite version. It is different form the Webos 2.0.

Quick update, i've now updated and all appears to be working as before, just faster.  I'm yet to reboot the TV so fingers crossed what was there before is there after.

For those note sure about Plex and WebOS2 (lite edition) - it would appear that Plex is still fully functional.

For my fellow Kiwis, it does appear something is very remiss with the whole EPG/On Demand thing, I can't even find the latter and no sign of setting up recording etc..... but I shall keep looking.

The update on mine works ok apart from the guide not showing more than 2 shows ahead I can select from the guide and record with series link , still waiting to here back from LG NZ regarding the guide issues . Also on demand works fine .

I bought a LG TV model 43LF590V last week.

Software version: 03.10.55

WebOS TV version: 2.1.0-3122 (beehive-bighorn)

Region: Poland

Autoupdate says there is no new version available. Software 03.10.55 seems ancient as I see that you guys are running version 05.00.20 already. Should I be worried?

      Hey guys !!!
I have a UHD UJ634v  LG webos Tv  that lately an error message pops on the screen staying : Tv signal has been lost due to the satellite LNB short.Check LNB connection"
This is really getting on my nerves because I can't get any signal even after resetting the TV or even updating to the last  software version.
I check my cable line and fixed every possible problem. The error message keeps showing up even after disconnecting cable line from the back of TV just as if a short circuit or something has happened inside the Tv.
Do you think that'd be software or hardware failure or something else??? How to fix it?
Please help me out with this cuz all my lovely satellite TV channels are gone 😐
Here is the actual error message on the right top o the screen
      Thanks in advance !!!

This is dumb OS. I should have check before buying it. Please any one has answer to make it fast ?
Is it is possible to change OS if I dont want to use WebOS ?
New buyer please check before you jump to WebOS

On our LG G1 OLED, when watching a program on Binge, the Binge app restarts itself every 20 minutes or so with a message about needing to restart to free up memory. Power-cycling the TV doesn't fix the problem, nor does running the "Memory Optimiser" function from system settings. None of the other streaming service apps we have on the TV have this problem - Prime Video, Stan, Netflix, Disney+, Britbox, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Youtube. Those are the only other apps installed on the TV. I've checked the LG WebOS version and checked for app updates, and everything is latest version.
If I run the Binge Android app on my Chromecast with Google TV, it works without any problems when streaming the same programs.

In fact, Spotify doesn't offer its service to LG webOS Smartwatch now. If you want to listen to Spotify songs on LG webOS Smartwatch, you'd need a
link hidden, please login to view. With Tunelf Spotibeat Music Converter, you can and then transfer them to LG webOS Smartwatch for playing without limits.

Samsung has made fridges with touchscreens before. LG has made fridges with doors that turn transparent to show you the inside. This year at CES 2018, those two ideas are finally merging into one with LG’s new InstaView ThinQ smart refrigerator, which features a 29-inch touchscreen that becomes transparent if users knock on it twice.
LG actually tried this two years ago, with a version called the Smart InstaView Door-in-Door that ran a full version of Windows 10, but it’s not clear that the company ever shipped the Windows version.
This version uses the touchscreen to manage your food using LG’s webOS software and Amazon’s Alexa, which will let you tag food with virtual stickers and expiration dates and get automatic reminders when things are running low or about to go bad. There’s also a wide-angle panoramic camera on the inside of the fridge that will let you remotely view your fridge while you’re out and about to check and see if you’re actually out of milk or not.

Unfortunately, the only image that LG has shared showing the fridge is a low-resolution shot on its YouTube page banner, but it seems that you’ll be able to still use the screen while it’s translucent, allowing you to tag food directly in a vaguely augmented reality-esque move.
LG is also touting how all of its ThinQ kitchen gadgets can talk to each other to make kitchen tasks easier. So your ThinQ fridge can talk to your EasyClean oven, which will help you cook food through step-by-step instructions from the recipe app from your fridge. Then, your EasyClean oven can notify your QuadWash dishwasher about the kind of meal you cooked, so it can more efficiently select a wash cycle for that dish. Of course, all this requires spending thousands of dollars replacing every appliance in your kitchen (and if this all works as well as LG claims it does), but it’s still an intriguing vision of a Jetsons-like future utopia.
No price or release date for the InstaView ThinQ refrigerator or any of LG’s other new appliances have yet been announced.
