05.00.55 installed on 55ec930v. Best firmware so far for me. I have tried about 10 different firmwares last year. Tested for a few hours.

No memory leaks

No hdmi cec/simplink problems

No hdmi arc disconnects

No hdmi pop-ups

I did not test the browser because I don't use it.

Finally a decent firmware for me

Having the same issues with the ARC dropping out.

Contacted LG and they are F***ing hopeless.

They want me to pay for a tech to come out to test the hardware.

But I don't think there is any problem with that.

And will not admit there is a fault in software.

Does any one know if .55 will work in Australia?

Or when LG plan to put out a Update?

Cheers

Hi, I ended up going through lgnz marketing folks via their Facebook page, they gave me a link to get the 55 download. I know the AU & NZ firmware has differences so no point sharing that but I'd suggest try through Facebook because you're right their sales support people are as useless as tits on a bull...

But if you want to risk it this is what they sent me, it has solved all the problems pre 55 I was also experiencing...

Here is the download link, you will need to place this file in a folder LG_DTV on a usb stick, and insert to the TV while left on an input.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks Michael.

Why would AU and NZ be different?

I will give the facebook ago.

Thanks Shane.

Where did you get .55 from?

Cheers for your help.

Lg gave me that link via their Facebook page here in NZ. The settings are different for terrestrial tv I believe. It's worth a try I guess I imagine worst case you'll need to retune TVs setup stuff.

Thanks guys.

All loaded and working.

I will give it a few days and then I will call LG and give them a piece of my mind.

So unhappy with there help. My original email just asked when they where going to fix the software issue. But they seem to think it's a hardware fault.

At least I'm not alone.

Thanks again

Why did the latest WebOS update 03.51,15 change my home screen settings?

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?
