Hi Team

I have little problem. I stuck with 05.05.01.

When I click "Check update" then TV start switching chanels in the background and after few minutes says can't find any update..

I did yesterday FW downgrade using Simon procedure http://www.lgwebos.com/topic/1997-how-to-downgrade-webos-tv-firmware-tutorial/

then Tv start dowloading new FW's (couple versions) but again stuck with 05.05.01, and again start switching chanels and no update found..

My tv 47LB731V-ZE

Any idea?

p.s Yes I can use USB stick, but I need to know what happen with my TV first .. Please note that in the past I used Beta versions as well..

I think you should reset to factory settings and try if this problem appears then flash new beta. BTW there is another beta/test 05.05.35. Read my post here

I did factory reset each FW upgrade.. So seems this is not a solution.

Any other idea ?

Hm..interesting. For me, just disappear channel(black screen) while seeking new version, but only in LiveTV...not in HDMI. Maybe another beta flashing?

Model: UH610V

Firmware: 04.30.50

WebOS Version: Not sure where to find this information

Country: UK

This updated in the past week and now I am finding that my DivX media server can't often find it via DLNA(?), and if it is found, then in the 'Photos and Videos' app, the media server is often not shown no matter how many times I press refresh, exit/restart app or restart both my computer and TV.

Really annoying! Used to work fine before!

Having an LG 55LB870B on 05.05.01 firmware

compared to the previous one I noticed a worse image quality about TrueMotion, it is too noticeable! even after resetting TV settings (checked with the same movie I watched lot of times)

Does anyone else found the same issue?

I'm currently downloading 05.05.20 official from LG website, I'll report if the issue is fixed....

EDIT: installed 05.05.20 and the issue seems to be fixed! TV is a little quicker in menu too

Just thinking now maybe 05.05.20 is not available via TV update yet.

Maybe someone from Poland could confirm it?

I'm not in Poland but in Germany but I don't get any new version via Ota update too. Still on 05.05.01.

Regards,

K.

Ok so it's looks like we will have to wait..

BTW. Can someone confirm where 05.05.20 is avilable via OTA..

Just download 05.05.20 officially from LG site

Unzip "Software_File(Version_05.05.20).zip" , format usb flash stick to fat32, create folder LG_DTV and copy file "starfish-dvb-secured-m14tv-25.ashley.m14tv-2522-05.05.20-prodkey_nsu_V3_SECURED.epk" into this folder, safely remove usb, plug into TV and install...or wait a while LG prepared for us new firmware update 05.05.35 (now in test/beta)

The quick availability of the BETA .35 Update after .20 was just released is suspicious to me... as if .20 had a serious bug and needed instant fixing... not sure if I want to risk installing .20 via USB unless I see more reports from users having no problems with 05.05.20 ...

Hi,

i have an LG 49UB850V, with a firmware version 05.10.01 (it's a beta) and webOS version 1.4.0-2301 afro-ashley.

Do you know if there are more recent/stable version of my firmware?

I've just installed 05.05.20 on a 42LB731. As always seems a little snapier but I think the picture quality has improved or returned to pre 05.**.** version softwares. Will play around later.

On our LG G1 OLED, when watching a program on Binge, the Binge app restarts itself every 20 minutes or so with a message about needing to restart to free up memory. Power-cycling the TV doesn't fix the problem, nor does running the "Memory Optimiser" function from system settings. None of the other streaming service apps we have on the TV have this problem - Prime Video, Stan, Netflix, Disney+, Britbox, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Youtube. Those are the only other apps installed on the TV. I've checked the LG WebOS version and checked for app updates, and everything is latest version.
If I run the Binge Android app on my Chromecast with Google TV, it works without any problems when streaming the same programs.

In fact, Spotify doesn't offer its service to LG webOS Smartwatch now. If you want to listen to Spotify songs on LG webOS Smartwatch, you'd need a

Samsung has made fridges with touchscreens before. LG has made fridges with doors that turn transparent to show you the inside. This year at CES 2018, those two ideas are finally merging into one with LG’s new InstaView ThinQ smart refrigerator, which features a 29-inch touchscreen that becomes transparent if users knock on it twice.
LG actually tried this two years ago, with a version called the Smart InstaView Door-in-Door that ran a full version of Windows 10, but it’s not clear that the company ever shipped the Windows version.
This version uses the touchscreen to manage your food using LG’s webOS software and Amazon’s Alexa, which will let you tag food with virtual stickers and expiration dates and get automatic reminders when things are running low or about to go bad. There’s also a wide-angle panoramic camera on the inside of the fridge that will let you remotely view your fridge while you’re out and about to check and see if you’re actually out of milk or not.

Unfortunately, the only image that LG has shared showing the fridge is a low-resolution shot on its YouTube page banner, but it seems that you’ll be able to still use the screen while it’s translucent, allowing you to tag food directly in a vaguely augmented reality-esque move.
LG is also touting how all of its ThinQ kitchen gadgets can talk to each other to make kitchen tasks easier. So your ThinQ fridge can talk to your EasyClean oven, which will help you cook food through step-by-step instructions from the recipe app from your fridge. Then, your EasyClean oven can notify your QuadWash dishwasher about the kind of meal you cooked, so it can more efficiently select a wash cycle for that dish. Of course, all this requires spending thousands of dollars replacing every appliance in your kitchen (and if this all works as well as LG claims it does), but it’s still an intriguing vision of a Jetsons-like future utopia.
No price or release date for the InstaView ThinQ refrigerator or any of LG’s other new appliances have yet been announced.
