Hello,

I'm using a LG smart TV with webos (and previuosly a Netcast TV) and I think there are some simple changes to do that can improve a lot the overall TV esperience (not Smart capabilities).

Please add your thoughts or your suggestion in order to have a complete list of simple improvements.

I'll add them in this first post to have a complete list of changes.

1) When using remote command numbers, the reaction of the TV seems very slow. It needs to be improved.

I think it is related to the searching of most recent channels that starts with pressed number/s. If this is the reason,

---> I suggest an option to enable/disable that search (when a number is pressed on remote command) to improve response time.

2) Settings menu is very attrative, but it is damn slow, above all at first opening. It can be right for some settings rarely used, but there are settings that needs to be very fast to use, as "aspect ratio".

In Netcast environment, there was a button to modify aspect ratio directly.

---> I suggest an option to associate a shortcut to a color button (if needed, an option in menu to enable/disable this shortcut).

---> A more general suggestion is the possibility to associate custom function to color buttons  choosen by user: this'd be the best.

3) One of the most confortable thing of Netcast was that the channel short info (showed by OK button) was showed automatically when the channel is turned.

---> I suggest an option to associate show/not_show the OK info on TV when a new channel is selected.

4) First pressure on Info button is useless, while second pressure shows details.

---> I suggest an option to associate enable/disable INFO first pressure information on screen, to avoid second pressure that shows an annoyng lag.

More suggestions soon...

Digital signage is an essential tool for connecting and communicating with key stakeholders across various environments, including retail, hospitality, healthcare and corporate sectors. This technology delivers dynamic and customized content to captivate, entertain and inform audiences. To maximize the value of these versatile B2B products, innovative companies like LG have introduced cloud-based content management solutions, providing clients with a new level of control and convenience.

      According to a
link hidden, please login to view conducted by Grand View Research, the digital transformation solution market is expected to record a compound annual growth rate of 30.8 percent by 2030, driven largely by the increasing adoption and investment in cloud technology. Cloud-based content management solutions enable companies to administer their digital content – and the digital signage that displays it – from almost anywhere, significantly reducing time, hassle and costs. Further streamlining business operations, some solutions now incorporate AI and data analytics to measure advertising performance and create content tailored to target audiences. Following this trend, many system integrator companies have started to offer services relating to the installation and management of cloud software for digital signage. Several of LG’s successful cloud-based solution implementations have been led by (WAND), a U.S.-based digital display and content management software provider and systems integrator primarily serving the food service market. WAND, which boasts many notable clients, leverages LG’s webOS-based digital signage and LG Business Cloud. This platform offers straightforward setup and a wide range of options for diverse business sectors, simplifying the purchasing and application of LG digital signage management software. By implementing LG Business Cloud solutions, WAND’s customers have achieved greater scalability and efficiency in their operations while simultaneously enjoying an enhanced digital signage management experience.

These include the LG SuperSign Cloud digital signage content management system (CMS), and LG Pro:Centric Cloud, a CMS designed for hotel TVs. Pro:Centric Cloud fosters a guest-friendly environment by enabling tailored customer service and the creation of personalized content for in-room displays.

In addition, the platform features the LG ConnectedCare remote management solution (RMS), which lets users manage and monitor the performance of their LG digital signage products remotely, sending instant alert notifications if an error is detected. Another outstanding solution offered on the platform is LG DOOH Ads, LG’s commercial display advertising solution. These convenience-enhancing solutions save businesses valuable time, as they can now be easily purchased through LG Business Cloud. Previously, customers had to navigate to each solution’s official website or webpage to make a purchase.
Moreover, LG Business Cloud lets users take advantage of trial licenses and tutorial videos for every solution offered on the platform.1 After purchasing a license from the LG Business Cloud website, customers can seamlessly connect their licenses to their digital signage and immediately begin using their newly acquired management solutions without any additional steps.

By providing all the essential tools needed to simplify and streamline content and display management, LG Business Cloud helps B2B customers maximize the potential of their LG digital signage.

Hi all, I am trying to find a solution to the native but complex "magic" remote control from LG. For elder or young people, this magic remote control with the OLED C3 TV is too complex or too busy (using a lot of unused keys. The new model for remote control is now either the Apple TV RC, the Android TV RC or the Google TV remote control. All these RC are small, easy to use with only 10 to 15 keys instead of the 40 to 50 keys. I saw that. in the past LG introduced smaller remote control (see below the first image LG AN-MR500) but I am not sure it is supported with the LG OLED C3. I also saw that the latest projector CineBeam Q comes with a small new RC (see bellow). This new white RC has only the necessary keys (max 10) and seems to be fine ! Also, the new C4 is coming seoon and I suppose it will include a new Remote Control but we don't know yet what it is ... Do you have an idea to solve my issue ?

My NEW LG 4k UHD is suddenly showing a Factory Mode floating message on Power startup...
All the information I've read (including LG online & TV documentation) DOESN'T mention this mode and how to restore User Mode...
Is this really a Smart TV ??

I like webos on my TV, but there are only two small anoying details that would be great if there is a way around it.
      1. TV in Portugal Vodafone has still Cable and Antenna channels. Scanning is not a problem and quality is acceptable for the source. Those channels because they are analogue will not gain description and only show the frequency name such as "S34". Is there any way to rename the channel to something more human readable such as "RTP1" ?
      2. Adding a bookmark from the web browser to the main screen works like a charm, but is there any way when lauching the bookmark from there in FullScreen and it doesn't show the intire browser ?
      thanks
