Hi , clearly if you own LG "stupid" TV so you must know three things first that it doesn't support flash player which it's required for %90 of the internet websites , second that you probably knew that after you purchased the TV after the false lg ads that says the TV running WebOS which's mean it must open any webpage on the damn internet third that you got Ripped Off by LG and will not get any help from them, so after searching the internet for hours and asking for some help from Pro Programmers and Developers i knew that the only way around is another web browser app has an integrated flash player and be installed through USB somehow as it's a software update or something, so if we all together the people who wants the app hired a freelancer developer for the job can get a final solution for the flash problem, who is in ?!

LG is screwing a lot with the WebOS but...

Forget about Flash. Flash is dying and it's not true that it's present on 90% of Internet Webpages anymore.

Most present Flash nowadays it's in Ads form. And most video players (on the desktop) that still uses flash, have the HTML5 Video option and it's there that we should focus.

If WebOS and his browser alone are slow and painfull to use, now imagine it they allow us to use Flash. The TV would simply crash, because Flash is very angry in CPU and RAM, that's why most mobile phones today doesn't even have Flash installed anymore.

Finally. Someone talking sense. I actually don't know that many sites which still use Flash. And would not want a browser on my TV to use either. Too resource intensive and buggy.

Flash is not dead. Arguably it is inferior and should be, however it is still very much entrenched and used in many key websites. Try watching any of the commercial free to air TV websites in Australia such as 9jumpin or 7plus and they all require Flash Player to work. Prior to buying the LG "smart" TV we were loyal LG purchasers. We are so disappointed with it on discovering that so many of the things we want to watch require Flash Player which is not supported, that the smart TVs we have bought (today) for our kids Christmas presents are not LG. LG just lost three sales and that's just from me.

Have tried to reset to original settings and remove automatic date setting option then tried setting manually.. but every day its resetting to old date.

I've just purchased an OLED48 C44 LA which comes with a US 60T soundbar. I've connected the soundbar to the HDMI earc socket. Because my hearing isn't too good I'd like to also have some heaphones plugged into the 3.5mm socket so that both the hdmi earc and 3.5mm socket have sound simultaneously. I've been into accessablity menu and the listen together option doesn't appear to offer both hdmiearc and 3.5 mm simultaneously. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
just to be clear, There is a setting which permits TV speakers plus wired external headphones. I just haven't found a setting which allows HDMI earc soundbar plus wired headphones.

      Greetings.
A huge problem is connecting an external drive/flash drive to a TV with webos with a large number of files.
It starts scanning all folders, which can take up to 20 minutes. Which is unacceptably long.
On the netcast platform, everything was instant. Maybe it creates previews...maybe something else...
How to disable disk scanning by the webos platform?

I have owned a couple of LG TV’s over the last 8 years, with the current one being a high-end 77” model.
I am still using LG TV SmartShare (v.33) as my “Media Player” v2.3.1511.1201 for my PC– which was last updated in 2015 but it is still compatible today.  As proof, my latest TV is now 11 months old and I have had zero issue (until you see below).
link hidden, please login to view My PC setup is: Windows 10 Pro (with all latest updates) and a TP-Link Archer BE19000 (BE805) router.    NOTHING has been changed on my router, TV (no updated or changed firmware) or any equipment moved around in the last 4 months.
Up until about 3 weeks ago, everything ran just fine.  The SmartShare program was always defaulted to have Sharing ON, upon start of it, which is always when Windows boots).  However, about 3 weeks ago, the SmartShare PC program has started to randomly change its status to Sharing OFF.  I would then have to go into the program, manually change it to ON and then it works anywhere for 30 minutes up to 20 hours, and again, randomly change the Sharing to OFF.
I am an experienced PC user, and I am very sure that this has nothing to do with my WIFI because it’s not a dropped connection or random TV not being found.   Something is happening inside Windows 10 that is triggering this status change.  And it never fluctuates back to Sharing ON by itself.
Being so frustrated, I actually updated the Router to the latest firmware a few days ago, but this problem continues as before.
As an experiment, I installed an alternate Media Server program called Serviio.  One can also see that when my Sharing changes to OFF, the two green lights turn red.
Anyone have an idea of what can be happening after nearly 8 years of not experiencing this?       I am guessing that Windows is triggering some “Service” to stop running, but what can it be?
