60UF7300 --Unable to update the apps....Web OS version 4.20.46

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I got a new TV few days back. 60UF7300.

When I launched netflix and youtube day before they requested for a update and after update they worked.

Yesterday, I tried updating HULU and I get a Network Error. Called customer care and They asked me to try factory reset.

After reset no apps work :(.

The Web OS version id 4.20.46.

Does anyone know what is the latest version for this TV.

Or How can I go to a working version of software?

Also is the WebOS software same for all models ?

I just got this TV and the smart part hasn't worked since delivery. I click on Netflix, for instance, and it waits for a couple seconds and then says "Network Error(2)" but the network is most certainly setup correctly. The only thing that works is the web browser. It sounds like the same problem you had. If you have any experience fixing it, please let me know. I'm running the same version 04.20.46.

I called CS and they said the problem was somehow related to Comcast. They're working on an update that should be done this week. I decided to set up a hotspot on my AT&T iPhone. I updated each app individually (I didn't see a way to update all) and then switched back to Comcast and it worked! Updates were probably <100 MB in total so it wasn't that bad...

Hi sumankantabathina,

you said you updated ur TV apps using USB tethering (not hotspot)...how did you use USB tethering to connect your TV with mobile data?

I also tried usb tethering by connecting my smartphone with TV using usb cable and enabling usb tethering, but TV didnt identify any network. Hotspot doesnt works as its another wireless signal

Thanks

LG is aware that some users experienced difficulty accessing the LG Content Store between 12/30/2015 and 1/4/2016. After researching this, it was noticed that this issue appeared to be occurring on units utilizing Comcast as the ISP.  All access issues have been resolved at this time. Is there any option available online to update my LG tv software webos version 3.4.2-580509 (dreadlocks-digya)

Up until a few days ago my TV and AVR have been working perfectly since I bought it.
Zero hassles with HDMI and connectivity.
Then I was prompted to update to the latest software version which I did and now often when I switch HDMI (running on 1) it picks up the device name, CEC works but I get “No Signal”… and then nothing.
Just stays on “No Signal”. It is almost as if some HDMI handshake breaks and now the driver is in a broken state.
I’ve found that if I hard power off and power on the device sometimes works but I don’t want to do that every time especially since it’s hard to get to the power.
This really strikes me as a software issue with the latest update as absolutely nothing else has changed in my setup.
      I’ve tried:
Different HDMI cables (high quality) Deep colour settings Reset the TV to factory default Different HDMI ports TV
      Model: OLED65G26LA / OLED65G26LA.HFBQLWK WebOS TV Version: 8.3.0.2301 Software Version: 13.30.56 AVR & Devices
Marantz SR5015 Nvidia Shield Pro PS5
The setup is the conventional AVR installation as shown in the attached file

      Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it possible to revert the software update?

I received an update 05.40.45 for my LG 65UM7510PLA TV a few days ago. After I tried to edit the channel list with the ChanSort programme, I noticed that the channel list transferred from the TV to USB was greatly reduced.
This was not a problem with the previous version 05.40.20. Unfortunately, it is not possible to upload the old version via USB.

As above! All4 & My5 will no longer work. Also, how do you update the browser? My LG nano TV is just over 3 years old.

I would like to update the OS on a relatively old TV (manufactured in 2015). So there are questions: how to find your version, where to download a new one and check its compatibility with my TV?
