I have an LG 65UF8500. I am hard of hearing and need to use CC when watching TV. All of the apps I usually use (Netflix, Amazon, YouTube) have no problems with the captioning; except Hulu. Captioning on Hulu Plus is spotty. Sometimes it's there and then it's gone again. I have two other (older) TVs of different brands streaming Hulu via AppleTV. I never have any problems with either of those sets, which leads me to believe that the problem exists with your WebOS. So when can I expect this problem to be resolved?

I am having the same problem. I'm disappointed to see no updates for the Hulu app. This is the problem with "Smart" devices: once you've bought the device, there's no incentive for the company to properly maintain the software! Instead, they've taken away features (3d content, for example) and the software deteriorates over time as updates get deployed without full testing.

Same problem here, but it eventually will cause Hulu to give a "critical error" message and the dialogue box to quit the application, which doesn't work either. Only solution is to turn off the TV, then back on. So, I have to leave closed captions off, which sucks.

Hi All, I just purchased a 75QNED85 and have a question about the ARC function. I have the tv hooked up to an older Denon AVR (2112ci). My cable box (FIOS) is connected to HDMI 1 on the TV. The Denon is connected from its HDMI Out (ARC) port to HDMI 3 on the TV (ARC/eARC). The tv has the ability to configure the Sound Out over HDMI to PCM, Auto or Pass-Through. If I select either Auto or Pass-Through the Denon sort of recognizes it as a Dolby Digital signal but just plays a sort of chirping/clicking sound. If I change the setting to PCM it works, but it only seems to be passing a 2.0 signal as the Denon reverts to a ProLogic surround mode. I didn't try connecting via the optical port because I already have something connected to the Denon's optical input. Anybody have experience with this? Should the PCM setting be able to output a full 5.1, 7.1 signal?

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

Our TV just did an update and now certain buttons on the remote aren't working, and the TV won't stay on if it even comes on at all you get a dark blue screen and that is it.. such a great update. Now what do we do? The remote batteries have been changed and it still isn't working correctly. We unplugged the TV and then replaced it in.. ugh..
