Webos 3.0 - LH600T - universal remote function not working

I am based in India and bought 49 inch LH600T few days back. Web OS version has been upgraded to latest version post installation.

Universal remote function is not working, I checked and also got it verified with LG support engineer also.

Post selecting the STB option under "Device Connected" menu, there are no further options to choose the make / model.

I was told by LG support engineer that the webos 3.0 is not released with this feature and it is going to come later. Is this true?

Hi

I am Anand,from Mumbai.I too purchased same TV on 24th August,And I'd like to confirm that Magic Remote does work with WebOs 3.0

Mine is on 3.3 something.

But I'd like to ask you being the owner of same tv is that , i am experiencing very slow interface of 'All Settings' option when YouTube is running in background and even Youtube is unresponsive and sluggish all the time even after latest update.

Is this the same case with your TV too ?

      My magic remote and my Roku remote stopped working for turning off power so I performed a factory reset after troubleshooting to get the remote working.  I am now stuck at the 1st screen of the Factory Reset which says "Press the OK Button(wheel) on your remote."  Well... this really stinks because the remote doesn't work!!!  I have tried a USB mouse, a new magic remote, other LG Remotes with no luck.  I have also tried using the button on the bottom of the tv.  And, I contacted support which was just an exercise in redoing everything I had already tried... No Luck!!
      This is a Nano Cell 55NANO81ANA which is basically just a big brick now since I cannot even use any of the inputs.  Does anyone have a trick for getting past this initial screen???

      Sky News stopped working after the webOS update

      webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
      I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
      Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

      As the title say, it is unfortunate that we cannot have access in those two apps and as far as I know many ppl waiting for them to be added… Hope to see them soon in webos app list. Thank you in advance.

      New LG 55" C4,  Magic Remote STB setup does not provide for Charter/Spectrum Arius STB model DCX3220? This is a current model STB and previous LG models did provide MR setup for this model.
