Hello, after the last update of WebOS (6.5.0.-24) there is different behavior of returning back to previous input on my TV. When I was watching a Live TV and opened an app like Youtube, after closing it (holding the return button) it used to return to Live TV. The same with HDMI input, when I was playing on Playstation and the opened an app, after closing it it returned back to PS. Now after the update, it always go to the Home Screen when the app is closed. I only found in setting to return to last input when turning the TV on instead of Home Screen, but didn't find the same for the behavior after closing an app. Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks

Recognition Highlights Company’s Commitment to Environmental Responsibility and
Carbon Reduction for a Better Life for All
SEOUL, April 9, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) has once again been recognized for its dedication to sustainability and eco-conscious initiatives, securing globally recognized eco-certifications for its 2025 OLED TVs. These achievements reaffirm LG’s commitment to environmental responsibility and the development of advanced products that contribute to a more sustainable world while reducing its carbon footprint.
For the fifth consecutive year, LG OLED evo TVs have received Reducing CO21 and Measured CO22 certifications from the Carbon Trust,3 a global climate consultancy advancing a zero-carbon future. These certifications evaluate a product’s environmental impact, including carbon emissions, throughout its entire life cycle – from manufacturing and distribution to usage and disposal.
LG OLED TVs excel in these rigorous assessments due to their self-emissive technology, which eliminates the need for a backlight, reducing component count and overall material use. Furthermore, LG OLED TVs incorporate ultra-light composite fiber materials, reducing weight and plastic use. For example, LG’s 65-inch OLED evo TV is 20 percent lighter than conventional LCD TVs of the same size and uses 60 percent less plastic.
As a result, LG anticipates reducing plastic consumption in OLED TV production by approximately 16,000 tons in 2025 compared to an equivalent number of LCD TVs. The company also expects to lower carbon emissions by 84,000 tons across manufacturing and transportation – equivalent to the CO2 absorbed annually by a 30-year-old pine forest the size of 11,000 football fields.
New for 2025, LG’s latest OLED TVs have earned Resource Efficiency certification4 from Intertek, a globally recognized testing and certification body. This certification follows a thorough assessment of material efficiency – covering recyclable design, reduced use of harmful substances and ease of repair – as well as energy efficiency and the incorporation of recycled plastics. By meeting these stringent standards, LG’s commitment to sustainability has been formally recognized, highlighting its dedication to environmentally responsible design.
In 2024, LG incorporated approximately 30 percent recycled plastic in the production of the company’s TVs, recycling around 6,300 tons of waste plastic. In 2025, the company plans to increase its use of recycled plastic to 50 percent, expecting to recycle approximately 7,700 tons of waste plastic annually.
“With a strong commitment to sustainability, LG OLED TVs provide exceptional picture quality and advanced AI features within an eco-conscious design that minimizes carbon footprint throughout the product lifecycle,” said Baik Seon-pill, head of Product Planning Division at the LG Media Solution Company. “Innovation and environmental responsibility go hand in hand, and we remain dedicated to protecting the planet while supporting a better life for all.”

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

I remember when I first bought the TV in Nov '23, it would switch into PC mode (setting the HDMI input to PC) automatically when first connecting my RTX 4090 PC. This behaviour was fine as the TV was indeed being used for PC Gaming.
On my RTX 3050 HTPC I could disable PC mode by changing the input back to HDMI1. This would restore all picture settings options. This change would persist until the HDMI cable was physically disconnected/reconnected. Again, this behaviour was fine for my HTPC where I preferred having access to all the picture settings options vs 444 passthrough.
Now PC mode is reactivated after every Cold Boot (Shutdown > Power On) but not from Warm Boot (Restart).
It is a 'silent' PC mode as the input label does not change back to PC, however the same picture settings are greyed out like in PC mode. Switching the Input label from HDMI1 to another non-PC type disables PC mode again and restores the full picture settings.
I was using the RTX 3050 in my HTPC for a few months after I purchased the TV and did not experience this issue. After a few months I switched to the RX 7600 and continued to not experience this issue. I recently tried going back to the Intel iGPU on the HTPC and discovered this issue. I thought it might be an intel bug, so I reinstalled the RTX 3050 and found the issue again. I've gone back to the RX 7600 as it does not suffer this issue.
I have Game Optimizer options disabled (VRR, Freesync, ALLM), 444 Passthrough Disabled, QMS Disabled.
Intel and Nvidia GPU options tried:
Change output from RGB to YCBCR = no effect
Disable "Text Content Processing" on intel = no effect
Change "Content type reported" on Nvidia = no effect (Movie does activate film maker mode)
Testing performed on Win11 24H2, however also experienced the issue when testing LibreElec(Linux Distro for Kodi) on the intel iGPUs (didn't test Nvidia in LibreElec as unsupported).
Affected GPUs: UHD Graphics 730 on Intel i5-11400 and i3-12100, Nvidia RTX 3050
Unaffected GPUs: AMD RX 7600, Nvidia GT 1030
I've noticed that on the RX 7600 and GT 1030 the SPD Info Frame are blank/Unknown.
While on the UHD 730 - Product Description: PC, Vendor Name: Intel, Source Info: PC
and the RTX 3050 - Product Description: GeForce RTX 3050, Vendor Name: NVIDIA, Source Info: PC
