This isn't an LG issue, it's a CBS issue since they are the developer. I wouldn't think it would take too much work to port the app to LG WebOS, though. They have it for Samsung (#1 market share smart tvs). Vizio (#2 market share) uses Chromecast so they have it too.  LG is #3 market share, about 1/6 the market of Samsung and Vizio combined.

You make a good argument for not producing the app for webOS, the flip side of that is that CBS is potentially missing out on 1/6th the market.  If CBS have people capable of creating apps for Samsung & Vizio then a webOS app would be easily within their comfort range.  At the end of the day it gives CBS another access to another revenue stream.  Going by the many post of the forum it seems that the bulk of users purchase their TV first and then look for an app not the other way round.

      LG TV remote DLNA access via VPN

      Hey everyone,
      I'm new here, so first of all, hello I'm delos.
      I own two LG OLED55G19 TVs, one at home and one elsewhere. At home, I have a QNAP NAS (TS451) with DLNA functionality. Accessing it at home works great.
      The "Home" and "External" networks are connected via VPN. Thus, both networks have different network addresses.
      Now I want to access the home network from the external network with the LG via VPN in order to integrate the DLNA server. The LG doesn't "see" the external server because it's not in the same network. However, I wonder why you can't just enter the IP address of the server in the LG.
      Does anyone have a solution?

      THINQ WAN access

      I am lifetime LG CUSTOMER.
      I have a fridge, air conditioned etc. all with THINQ can be accessed remotely (WAN ACCESS)
      Some years ago I purchased 65UM7100PLA but this device is accesible only in LAN/WLAN via  THINQ
      I though this is because old WEBOS version, but I have purchased a new 32LQ63006A with WEBOS22 and I am not able to acces the TV via WAN. It,s the same. THINQ works only in LAN, at home
      I question if there is any way to remotely (WAN) access to my TV,s???
      This can be for security reasons (turn on /off away home etc.
      If  fridge, air conditioned can be accesible by WAN whyy tv not????

      LGSM8100 - 05.20.08 don't memorize quick access after TV restart

      Hello,
      Since my TV updated to the last WebOS firmware 05.20.08, quick access key (Long Press 1 for HDMI1, Long press 2 for HDMI2) are reset each time i shutdown the TV, and i have to set them after each reboot...
      I tried to restore the factory default settings on the TV to see if there is any change, but sadly this didn't fixed my problem.
      Any idea please ?
