Can't pause 4OD player app

Generally, I'm mightily impressed with the player apps on my new LG OLED55B6V, apart from an annoying issue with the 4OD player. The app works fine for navigating and selecting content, but once a selected programme starts playing I have no way of pausing it, forwarding or ending the programme other than by selecting another app. I've tried every button on the magic remote and even tried the mouse, but I have no control of the player once a programme starts playing. Is this a known issue and is there a fix on the way, or am I missing something. 

Any thoughts?

      In the media player, it is quite difficult to see which item is selected.
      Would it be possible to do something to make the selected item more distinguishable like putting a border around it?

      I recently bought a LG TV with WebOS version 8.1 and have a frustrating issue.
      I have a usb disk with all my family photos & videos archive in it. 
      We love to browse through the pictures and videos on big screen.
      But current LG TV media player displays either pictures or videos. I want to see them in the order they were captured.
      It would be great to enable this feature when "Photos & Videos" filter is selected.

      Hi,have LG tv approx 2 years old now when we pause a programme and restart no sound just buzzing sound.
      We then have to turn off tv and restart and sound then returns when we press play,not sure if this tv fault or sky?
       
      Any suggestions welcomed.
