We bought the LG TV with WebOS recently. Internet browser closing very often due to the memory and it shows Web Browser has been closed unexpectedly. Do you want to resume the last web page? Can we know is this the fault with the TV or do we need to do anything with Memory setting? Please help.

I have the same issue and have contacted LG and are awaiting response. I'm not holding my breath as I see this issue has been on-going with LG TV's for ages and so far I haven't seen any resolution. Looks like we may have purchased a lemon. I'm annoyed at myself for not researching this before I made the decision to buy. Buyer beware....

Just got off the phone to lg support. I was told the web browser shuts down when attempting to stream video ON PURPOSE! Furthermore, once you stream anything from the internet, the cache fills up, does not clear, and prevents the installed apps from functioning properly.  I was told that the OS is a web browser NOT a web streaming service and if they allow customers access to stream video they will be in breach of their contractual agreement to the companies who have apps on the TV. This clearly doesn't happen on tablets or phones, so their logic for creating a sub par product is utter bollocks. I specifically asked the salesman if I could stream video from the internet and was told absolutely yes. When I pointed this out to Lg customer service they re-iterated that a web browser does not confer the ability to stream video. This is misleading the customer, and effectively censoring and filtering internet content.  This must stop!

      Recently while watching TV, the screen goes blank and then this message appears  'The app needs to close to save memory'  then the TV reboots to the program being watched.
      Any help and information as to what causes this would be appreciated.

      New LG 55" C4,  Magic Remote STB setup does not provide for Charter/Spectrum Arius STB model DCX3220? This is a current model STB and previous LG models did provide MR setup for this model.

      Just bought a new LG 43UT91006LA TV .
      After one week we're getting a "short of memory " screen warning before TV shuts off and restarts . I've not loaded any apps but I've managed now to delete one . I've checked that the apps are updated . I'm thinking that I can rid myself if the games but not sure how to do this ..I'm a bit baffled that a one week old TV can't cope with it's pre- installed apps ?!

      Apparently, the LG model OLED55CSPUA has an issue with the external device power on/off control. I can configure the IR Bose soundbar well enough, as setup sequence tests it good to control soundbar power. but after exiting the setup, when i press the external device power button on the remote, the TV just wants to cycle through the setup again.  It doesn't toggle soundbar power, just cycles back to the setup.   i have tried factory settings reset and verified that there are no other devices on the TV.

      Trying to programme my magic remote to control an Amlogic OTT, however keep getting a ‘temporary issue occurred’ when I try. I’ve been trying for over a week now, so this temporary issue isn’t so temporary!
