Hello,
A few years ago I bought a 43" LG Model 43UK6200PUA, manufactured in 2018. I'm from Canada but I purchased this TV in the US. It was a store demo unit on for a great price. I took it home to Canada, set the location to Canada and setup up in our bedroom. It has been working fine with our Fiber TV service as well as Netflix, Amazon etc. We also to have a 60" LG TV in the living room which was purchased in Canada. This TV is similar in age to the one in the bedroom. Recently I started watching the LG channels on the living room TV. I hadn't really paid much attention to them before but now I enjoy them. My problem is that the LG channels do not work on the bedroom TV. I suspect because it was purchased in the US but located in Canada. With the location set to Canada the LG channel guide populates and shows what's on however when I select a program I get the following message.
LG Channels can't be serviced if a user changes 'LG Service Country' from Settings. In order to use LG Channels service, please restore 'LG Service Country' to its condition of original purchase
So if I change the location to the US I get this message.
Sorry, LG Channels is not available in your location. Please set your location to your current location in the settings. If you are in the service area, please visit www.lgappstv.com for help.
As you can see the messages sort of contradict each other also the website mentioned www.lgappstv.com is not working. I suspect that the location for this TV is set to the US at some deeper level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have an LG TV model 65UN711C0GA which i'm trying to download the LG Channels app but probably because of my location (Israel), i'm unable to find the app in the LG content store.
I was told to change my location in the settings and so i did, but bedside Israel, PS and other countries, i don't have other alternatives. From what i saw in YouTube videos, i'm supposed to have the list of all countries but from some reason i don't.
I have tried setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8 but still without success.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hopes and aspirations for a good life are universal desires. However, defining what constitutes a good life differs from person to person, culture to culture – there’s just no limit to the myriad of possibilities that brings a ray of light into our lives. This is why LG joined forces with up-and-coming director Jackson Tisi and budding artists around the globe for its Life’s Good Film Project. After all, there’s no better medium than the artistic voice of young souls to explore the multifaceted perspectives that shape our world and the future.
This year, LG called on 531 young auteurs from 33 countries to capture the peoples, cultures and landscapes around the world that highlight the good in life. Tisi led the way with his exceptional creative vision, weaving the clips together into a vibrant 20-minute

The film delves into the multitude conditions of the human existence within six chapters that embody a unique element of a good life – from the beauty of nature, the vitality of physical movement, personal growth nurtured in times of solitude to the togetherness and warmth of a close-knit community. The final chapter depicts today’s young generation united in celebration of life, eloquently bringing the film to a close. This emotionally uplifting message – and the amazing depth and range of visual sensations that it accompanies – was lauded by several film industry outlets.

I have a LG OLED65C6P TV which is a listed as a DirecTV 4k Ready TV. It currently has SW File Version 05.30.02 and the DirecTV Ready app version 2.2.14. My home network is wired for full Gigabit and I will used a wired connection over wireless whenever possible.
I have DirecTV with a Genie Gen 2 (HR44-700). The DirecTV app on the LG OLED65C6P was activated last February and everything was working without any problems until recently. Everything is hooked up using DirecTV's "official" setup for RVU client viewing using DECAs where required.
About 3 weeks ago, the TV started displaying the message "This location is not authorized" after attempting to connect to the Genie receiver. The only thing that changed is that DirecTV updated my Genie with Software 0x80d.
It seems that I am not the only person experiencing this problem. I was hoping that someone over here at LG's support community may be able provide some help.

Does LG need to update the DirecTV (RVU) app on my TV? Do they need to update the LG webOS software or does the TV Firmware need an update?
If so, how long will this take? How do I get LG to do this?
