Still getting the oft reported out of memory error with latest 2017 smart tv's running very latest WebOS and App updates. So annoying LG cannot fix this problem which as been ongoing since at least 2015.ti little more than trite suggestions to re-start the TV or remove unused Apps etc.

Problem seems to be either insufficient memory installed to run WebOS apps properly or a major problem with WebOS ability to properly manage what memory there is.

Combined with pitifull lack of USB ports quickly occupied with hard drive if recording and time machine functionality is required the 'smart' features seem poor compared to other manufacturers now.

Just got off the phone to lg support. I was told the web browser shuts down when attempting to stream video ON PURPOSE! Furthermore, once you stream anything from the internet, the cache fills up, does not clear, and prevents the installed apps from functioning properly.  I was told that the OS is a web browser NOT a web streaming service and if they allow customers access to stream video they will be in breach of their contractual agreement to the companies who have apps on the TV. This clearly doesn't happen on tablets or phones, so their logic for creating a sub par product is utter bollocks. I specifically asked the salesman if I could stream video from the internet and was told absolutely yes. When I pointed this out to Lg customer service they re-iterated that a web browser does not confer the ability to stream video. This is misleading the customer, and effectively censoring and filtering internet content.  This must stop!

Absolute bull****! Why does Samsung and ANY other TV not have the same "flaw" built in? That's an complete copout for bad design! Furthermore, why could someone from LG not come on to this forum, HOSTED BY THEM, to tell everybody that? I know why, telephonically they can say what they want to. Put it in print here and they are liable to get sued, that's why! Another thing, how the HELL are you supposed to stream YouTube, which is embedded as an application on the product, but does the same crap "out of memory" errors????

I told , the very well spoken lad who should really go into politics as he defended the indefensible with aplomb, that i sincerely hoped the conversation was recorded as I was about to make it my mission to out LG for its slimy practices. When I asked why the limitations of the OS wasn't pointed out on the TV Specs, which i read thoroughly before purchase, he said that no company would list such info and that the list would be extensive as no device does everything. My retort was that a webOS streams video in every other device known to man. Not streaming video on an OS is equivalent to buying a car only to discover there isn't a speedometer. LG has taken their customers to be fools. How marvellously offensive! Every social media outlet, television review, electronics website, LinkedIn connected LG employee, and competitor is about to know my name.  Hell hath no furry like a scientist with an internet connection and a grudge. Beware LG, I'm coming for you!

I've bought OLED55CX3LA and have screenshare errors ever since.
I'm using Dell machine with Windows 10 onboard.
Almost every time I try to connect using "connect with remote screen" windows option, I get the pop up that
      only with cancel button.

Sometimes there is approval button but mostly I have only "cancel" option.
Have this error on OLED55CX3LA and one older model. Same behavior.

Mobile screen sharing working perfectly fine.

      How to fix it?
I've cleared the connection history but without any success.
Not sure if I should put it on warranty or if there is some simple fix?

      Hey guys !!!
I have a UHD UJ634v  LG webos Tv  that lately an error message pops on the screen staying : Tv signal has been lost due to the satellite LNB short.Check LNB connection"
This is really getting on my nerves because I can't get any signal even after resetting the TV or even updating to the last  software version.
I check my cable line and fixed every possible problem. The error message keeps showing up even after disconnecting cable line from the back of TV just as if a short circuit or something has happened inside the Tv.
Do you think that'd be software or hardware failure or something else??? How to fix it?
Please help me out with this cuz all my lovely satellite TV channels are gone 😐
Here is the actual error message on the right top o the screen
      Thanks in advance !!!

      Hello,
I regently got the LG 43UF6409 and have been pretty happy with it so far.
When I tried to open netflix or the LG conten store, it's starting to load the user agreements- those could not be loaded due to a server error(loose translation from german). If I retry to load those, it does not load either.
I've reset the TV to factory reset and it gives me the same error. It's connected to the wifi, shows me that it is connected to the internet but still won't load the user agreements.
Also tried to look for software updates (it's 3.20.40)- if I try to look for updates, it could not find any.

Just bought an LGLED-65UJ630 65INCH TV. Right away I started to get the message "This app will now restart to free up more memory". After searching the internet and forums, I now understand that this problem is huge, it has been going on for years now and it is right across many models of LG TV's.
I have tried everything to fix this problem. It has the latest firmware. I did the factory reset and that lasted 4 hours before I got the message back. I turn off the TV and leave it for 10 minutes, maybe one hour later I get the message. I delete browsing history, maybe 10 minutes and I get the message..... you get the message.
As I understand it, the problem is that LG TV's don't have enough internal memory, but they have shipped a ton of their "smart" TV's with this problem.
My question is, has anybody heard anything from anybody, anywhere about a solution to this problem. I really want to keep this TV, but it is not fit for purpose in this state.
