Sound Sync problem: Image sync lags sound

Hi

I have a 43UJ630V and am being driven mad by the poor sound sync between the TV and my Sony Home Cinema connected via HDMI & Optical. 

Vision lags behind the sound typically by about 1 second or so, but it seems constant and doesn’t change with time. 

I’ve tried all sorts but can’t make any difference; it does the same whether I play a DVD on the Home Cinema, stream off internet via Home Cinema or TV, or watch tv with sound out through Home Cinema; clearly something is wrong!

Before the LG I had a Sony TV connected the same way and it worked perfectly. 

I suspect the delay may be due to the upscaling of the images but can’t see any control. 

Maybe the TV/WebOS needs a control to adjust the sync?

Andy, I just bought the oled65c7p and I too have sound sync problems just with the tv and no other sound equipment the tv picture is way ahead of the tv sound.  I have tried all the sound adjustments and only get a temporary fix, it eventually reverts back to the long sound delay. The only fix I have found is to disable the Dolby sound output from my directv box, changed it to pcm.  Sound is now synced with picture but of course this is an unsatisfactory “solution”.

It's a pain in the ass LG should fix through a software update.  You can play with the sound settings but they don't seem to help on the delay, only make it worse.  Bypass seems like the best setting.  Home cinema/surround sound with the tv sound off seems to be the best bc the source of the picture and sound are the same.  I used to be able to have tv sound and surround sound on at the same time and now you get echo effect.

      My lg model 55UM7300PTA  is connected with my desktop pc which is assembled by me at home is connected through hdmi port is showing display in lg tv  but not having sound from tv but when i start setup box of tata play i has sound n also on youtube from tv n when screen mirror is done it has sound so please help me to solve this problem ... also i am not able to download lg dna centre on my desktop.

      Hey everyone,
      I have had LG TV for just two years. Last weekend, when I turned it on, it showed a blank white screen but was still illuminated, with sound working. No LG logo or image appeared. I unplugged the TV and held the power button for 30 seconds while it was unplugged, and the screen issue fixed the issue for a week[url=https://whitescreen.vip/

      However, the same white screen problem has now returned, and the power reset trick no longer works.
      Should I contact a local TV repair technician or reach out to LG customer support first?  Any advice?

      I'm hard of hearing, and even with hearing aids I have to turn the volume so high that it deafens everyone else.
      It would make my life easier if I could listen on headphones while everyone else listens to the speaker.

      The 32HR734S features a 31.5-inch, 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160) Mini-LED display leveraging thousands of tiny LED diodes as the Back Light Unit (BLU). Delivering 2,000 cd/m² peak brightness and a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, LG’s medical monitor leverages 1,536 local dimming zones to produce clear, detailed images and enhanced visual contrast.       GOOD sound bar?

      I have read a few comments here about sound bars, but did not see much that is fairly new. We just bought an LG 75qned85t TV and would like to add an external sound bar. The reviews we have read so far are pretty discouraging until you get up over $500 or so. Are there any less expensive ones that will improve the sound significantly? It is a bit disappointing to spend this much on a TV and have sub-par sound. TIA. john
