Bought TV in China & moved, want to region switch but cannot

Question

Posted

Hello

I bought my TV this year in China and I've moved to HK where I can access Netflix & Youtube etc etc, however, I'm unable to change the region settings on my TV as it only allows me to select China under the country list. Is there anyway that I can update the OS manually in order to region switch as the China apps are very limited..

Thankss

      Hey LG
Can you actually answer forum questions because many people want answers,
      and really support your products.

Even me I have asked question but nothing zilch, zit.
So we buy but nil zit, zero help from you
Product such as TV's are limited use and life.
Playback support and updates are really bad (Only bare minimum support in TV's)
Seriously this does not make people like me want to purchase your products again
I am seriously looking at other makers to purchase
It is a shame because you have such a great product
      Yes I am NOT happy

I have a brand new LG OLEDC8PLA model and have both an input for my aerial and for my Satellite however i cannot seem to find anyway to switch from watching via my aerial, which is Spanish DTV and then switching to my Satellite to watch UK TV
I live in Spain hence the two systems.  When I press the home button on the remote the list is at the bottom  and displayed are LG Content Store HDMI3, LiveTV Freesat etc but no button with the aerial option, so the only way I can switch is to go into the main settings menu select Programme Tuning and switch the programme mode from Satellite to Antenna.
This does not seem a very smart way to be able to switch
Does anybody know if you can switch easily?

Since the Web OS update last week, the line on the Home Screen with all my apps has changed.  Now Apps is the first one in the line.  I do not want it there, but cannot move it.  If I go to the end where it shows Edit Apps, I can click on any app to move it or delete it.  But, the Apps icon is grayed out and cannot be moved.  My neighbor has the exact same model I do -- LG OLED 653PUA -- and it is not like that on his tv.  He can move the App icon anywhere he wants.  This is very annoying as it defaults to the Apps icon when I click on Home and then I need to click to get to YouTube TV, which until the update was always first in the line.
